LazyBoy Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Love this film so much. Saw it in the states before i'd heard anything about it, proceeded to watch it 4 times in 3 days. Gets funnier every time you see it.
Cube Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Doesn't touch Zoolander which is beyond brilliant. I almost watched Anchorman and/or Zoolander yesterday. The coin hit The Italian Job, which was right in-between both films.
Rummy Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Ouch, tough break! I hope it was the original though. As for this film, I don't know if it's overrated, all I know is that I've only seen it once but found it bloody funny. I've not been wildly inspired to buy it though(i dont buy DVDs if I can avoid it) though I'd like to see it again, I think. I think the fact it's so hyped makes me want to hate it more though. For me, the funniest bit in the film(and a classic) is the scene where they're talking about how Steve Carrell's character killed a guy, as well as the preceeding fight scene, absolutely love it!

Yeah, the Anchorman fight is pure comedy gold! "No commercials, NO MERCY!!"
