Strider Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 When I was in GAME toaday I saw a new controller (Dualshock 3) for £25, so it might bor worth checking you local game to see if they are at that price. It is kind of the same on the website. The dual shock 3 has the little "Cheaper when bought with anything else" in the bottom right, add it to the basket then add some Silver Stars DVD Wrap for 99p and it becomes £25.98.
Gizmo Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Heres a better idea, format it on the PSP. Thats what i usually do. You mean System Settings > Format Memory Card? That's what I've been using mostly. The EasyInstallers I mentioned previously included this step. Anyway, this is probably borderline rule breaking, so I'll keep it to PMs.
Guest Jordan Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Modding isn't rule breaking.... errr... unless we're talking about dumping a PSP bios. Then its really rule breaking .
dwarf Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 But don't worry because he's the King of Fun, so no rule breaking to worry about
Daft Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Just got Uncharted back. If I want trophies can I start a new game with an old load or do I have to start again from scratch?!
flameboy Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Just got Uncharted back. If I want trophies can I start a new game with an old load or do I have to start again from scratch?! start completely from scratch otherwise you can't get all the trophies. also make sure you only use a single save file.
Daft Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 start completely from scratch otherwise you can't get all the trophies. also make sure you only use a single save file. I started over but didn't carry over the medals or treasures. Is that alright? Also why can you only use one save?
flameboy Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I started over but didn't carry over the medals or treasures. Is that alright? Also why can you only use one save? yeah thats right...as for the one save, apparently mulitple saves can fudge it up and means not getting trophies for some things and then getting one for others...
Daft Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 yeah thats right...as for the one save, apparently mulitple saves can fudge it up and means not getting trophies for some things and then getting one for others... Ok, I just completed the first chapter and I do what I usually do and save to a new save. I can just carry on from the original save right? Probably a stupid question but I'd rather sort it out now than bugger it up a couple hours in.
flameboy Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Ok, I just completed the first chapter and I do what I usually do and save to a new save. I can just carry on from the original save right? Probably a stupid question but I'd rather sort it out now than bugger it up a couple hours in. I think your meant to copy over the original save and keep it to just one file exclusively...you see reports vary and some people say different things thats what I did and it has worked fine...
Daft Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Christ, I have no idea. I started a new game and saved it to a new space. Trophies seem to be working fine at the moment. Does it usually screw up later on?
dwarf Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Stop being a pussy and just use one save file, no big dealio. You can still get trophies from other files, only you won't get all the medals on one save. Although it may crap it up if you do that later on.
Ryan Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 For Uncharted I just deleted my save and made a new one when the Trophy patch came.
The Lillster Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 So who else has linked their psn account and playstation.com message board accounts?
flameboy Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 So who else has linked their psn account and playstation.com message board accounts? I think I might have done the other day when I was on mybuzz...
Domstercool Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Korean developer Pentavision has announced that, yes, there isn't just one new DJ Max title coming out, but two. The PSP rhythm title will be released in two different forms: Clazziquai Edition and Black Square. More DJ MAX? DAMN RIGHT WOO!
Guest Jordan Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I told Letty this morning, she was happy :P So wait, DJ Max Fever is coming out in two versions? Apparently Clazziquai Edition is going to be more 'mainstream' music and Black Square is going to be more 'traditional' DJ Max songs.
Domstercool Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 No, this is a new Korean DJ max That means in total they will be 4 or 5 DJ MAx games, depending if this is 2 games or just 2 types of CE ones.
Guest Jordan Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 So wait... theres: DJ Max Fever for the US Market DJ Max Portable Clazziquai Edition for Korea and DJ Max Portable Black Square for Korea?
Domstercool Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Yep, but black square/clazziquai edition might just be special editions of the same game, like DJ MAX 2 had a silver and black special editions. It isn't explained on the site yet. DISSSSSSSGAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
S.C.G Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 DISSSSSSSGAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And as Dom "breaks in" his new copy of Disgaea 3, the entire forum is set adrift in a sea of cream... I hope it was worth the wait Dom.
LegoMan1031 Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 I got top of the friends leaderboard last night on SSDHD survival. Yay! Prob not for long though after i have just posted this... Tried for 10x multiplyer and i got to 9 n then died... (again)
dwarf Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 for 10x just boost loads and don't be afraid to use bombs, even in quick succession: as long as you survive. If you see a purple powerup boost over there immediatly. Probably knew all this but sometimes the simple advice is the best.
LegoMan1031 Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Ok tar mate. I have not watched them yet myself but there is 2 vids that are on the PSN store on about tips for getting high scores in SSDHD, might be worth a look?
