Writers Strike In the US

Recommended Posts

I don't really care... it just makes more sense to go with next year than dvd releases, to the general crowd, wich is who they're trying to please, so... yeah.

Well the original order was sixteen, so they're only loosing an episode or two. Plus next year isn't viable. They had to sweet talk Braff into coming back, and no doubt he has plans. Plus NBC won't want to risk putting it against all the new season stuff again.

Micheal Eisner thinks they've made a sweet offer the writers can't reject, they need to vote on it. Hopefully they'll accept and get the pay they deserve.

South park isn't affected by the strike, Matt and Trey aren't members of the WGA.

Wohoo, it's over, yay.

So what are the chances of us getting the 2nd half of Heroes season 2 then?

Will Lost season 4 get it's full 16 eps?

When shall we know?

So many questions, so little time :heh:

Zero, hopefully the script they write up for season 3 has a better pace.

April/May is looking good. Shame for Pushing Daisies and Chuck.

No news since as far as I can see.

Executive Producer Josh Schwartz: "If the strike is over, then on behalf of Chuck and Gossip Girl we are all thrilled to get back to work. Both shows will be back for more episodes—when, I can't quite say, though Gossip Girl will most likely be on as soon as possible. Chuck may not be back until fall to relaunch with Heroes, or it may be back sooner, but both will be back!"

For those wondering about Heroes, its looking like September.

Thought this was worth a bump, seeing as the strike is now over. As you all no doubt know by now, writers will be returning to work this week and many shows are going back into production for a handful of episodes.

*Looks up*

;)

Anyone know the PB situation? Have they filmed it? Is there meant to be a Season 4?

Also Scrubs tidbit.

Scrubs (Thursdays, 9:30-10 p.m. ET)

Resumes April 10

There are still 5 unaired episodes from pre-strike scripts. The number of episodes beyond that is to be decided.
