Owen Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 This 'New Blood' will be stale by the time it reaches Europe in August 2008. Seriously, it will be exactly the same-time frame, then this years Second Opinion, that was release holiday 2006 in US and we're getting it summer 07. My god.
Teppo Holmqvist Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Seriously, it will be exactly the same-time frame, then this years Second Opinion, that was release holiday 2006 in US and we're getting it summer 07.. No worries about that because game's first language is english, and Nintendo is publishing this themselves all around the world.
Jamba Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Yeah, I was just about to say. Even worse though is the fact that they assess the market viability of the product on the success in the States and Japan. So they wont even decide whether to publish this until it does well over seas. How messed up is that?
Teppo Holmqvist Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 So they wont even decide whether to publish this until it does well over seas. It will. Last Trauma Center sold around 250 000 copies in USA, and it was Atlus USA's best selling game ever.
Zelda_Rulez Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 I didn't know it did that good in the US. I hope New Blood will perform just as well.
... Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 First video: http://media.wii.ign.com/media/949/949432/vids_1.html I wasn't expecting it to be so similar to Second Opinion. I expected a visual overhaul, more realistic, perhaps? It seems the only difference is the voices.
dannbrownn Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 From absolutely nowhere, Trauma Center has become one of the most loved franchises on Nintendo platforms! Brilliant, keep 'em rolling out Ninty!
pedrocasilva Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Brilliant, keep 'em rolling out Atlus!Fixed :p and I really hope so, Atlus rocks.
Gizmo Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Except their translation team doesnt :p Oh, and their spellchecker is broken too. Nah, they are good. I didn't buy the DS version, and I only rented the Wiimake, but I'll be buying this on launch day
Strange Cookie Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 I'm loving Second Opinion, and I probably am going to love this one to bits too! Now, is it just me, or has the now protagonist more than just a 'Kasal'-flair about him? Conspiracy theories abound? Dr. Markus Vaughn - New Blood Dr. Greg & Sidney Kasal - Second Opinion
Owen Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Second Opinion is great, your right Strange Cookie. I was playing it yesterday, my hand shaking throughout, it makes me nervous, you feel like a real-surgeon!
dannbrownn Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 New scans: I can't read japanese... but man i can read screenshots... and what do ythese screenshots say? .... Awesome! Great post Dante! Thanks.
ShadowV7 Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 I hope Derek makes a cameo or something in this, would be cool.
Kirbii Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 i still ain't played this game only got past the first level
Guest Maase Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 I Think that some episode of this game will have Ghosts involved :P Look at Picture 6 xD BTW, nice Addition to the Wii
pedrocasilva Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 IGN Review: Closing Comments: (...) Games like New Blood fit the Wii almost perfectly, and even after blowing through two full games during the system’s first year we’re still asking for more, as there’s simply no denying the franchise’s motion/IR appeal. We could write volumes on why this game works, but it wouldn’t change the simple fact that it just does, so rather than read about the game you’d be better off grabbing a copy (and a friend) and just diving into one of the best pure gameplay experiences Wii has to offer. Trauma Center: New Blood is the best in the series, and a must-have for any Wii owner. Buy it, love it, and then beg for more. Score Breakdown: 8.0 Presentation Better than the previous version with 16:9 display, more VO, and a crisp storyboard style. Could still be improved greatly, but improved nonetheless. 7.5 Graphics Widescreen adds to the visual style, and while the game looks very similar to last year’s effort it makes use of more backdrops and locales, and more “levels†to operate in. 7.5 Sound A huge improvement in both amount and quality of VO. The general sound design is similar, but also offers a larger soundtrack. 8.5 Gameplay Gameplay remains virtually unchanged, but new tools and techniques add depth. Co-op mode is awesome, as are the new story-less “challenge†stages. 8.0 Lasting Appeal Online rankings make an appearance this year, as does the ability to play three difficulty levels (that really change the experience), two doctors, co-op, and challenge missions. 8.5 OVERALL (Great) -> http://wii.ign.com/articles/835/835977p1.html
ShadowV7 Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 I'm really looking forward to this. Co-op will be fantastic fun so I hope there's some really tough missions. My sister, girlfriend and some other friends loved Second Opinion so co-op will be a great laugh.
Owen Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 I loved 'Trauma: SO' i really did, but the main reason why i'm buying this is the co-op! I think that will be superb! I may have left this for a much later date if it didn't have co-op though, but it's made me really want it.
flameboy Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 I wonder when this will come out here. Thought about getting the first one but won't bother if the second one is out soonish...but don't expect it to because of the translation issues.
