Hero-of-Time Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 It could very well be according to Gonintendos reports... An Italian game retailer is listing this Freeloader for the Wii as shipping on June 30th. They also state that that date is subject to change. I would love to be playing some imported games on my Wii without having to go through timed disc switches. Hopefully this actually does come out. If this turns out to be true then there will be many a happy gamer on these forums, including me!
Cube Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Both Action Replay for GameCube and Freeloader work on a Wii in GameCube mode That doesn't sound too promising...
Kurtle Squad Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Doesn't sound like it....Haven't they realised there's already WiiCube loader?
Hero-of-Time Posted June 14, 2007 Author Posted June 14, 2007 Ok, so after all of these rumours flying around I decided to email Codejunkies themselves and this is the reply I recieved. Dear Sir Further to your email I understand that a freeloader for Wii games is in the works but we currently have no release date I could only suggest checking our website in the near future for any new or forth coming releases. Regards Daniel Leese
BlueStar Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 That doesn't sound too promising... That's talking about the already existing freeloader and action replay gamecube discs by the sound of it.
ShadowV7 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 I'm glad to hear that they're still working on it though.Keeps the hope alive a bit.
thirtynine. Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 I'm glad to hear that they're still working on it though.Keeps the hope alive a bit. Considering Datel made a modchip i doubt that they even can make a freeloader.
Oxigen_Waste Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 i hate all cheating devises. It's not a cheating device, idiot. It simply enables you to play american games on your european wii. Got it?
