gaggle64 Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Just as long as they put in a proper, working control scheme this time.
blender Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 you would think that we were due a burnout from EA. Anyway, hope this is good. Since excite truck i have a new enthuasiasm for racers
Retro_Link Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Wii version will probably be the PS2 version with Wii-mote steering. I wouldn't mind if it was, because I'd rather EA focus on other Wii projects.

I think it makes more sense to tune down the Wii version for the PS2. It's what they did with Xbox games for years. I hope this is the Wii's first online racer. Considering Madden and Fifa are online, this one's probably online as well.
mcj metroid Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 I played most wanted on the ps2 and thought it was the most over-rated racing game of all time. It was horrible looking. How does this get number 1 at christmas every year? Unless they have improved since i'm avoiding this like the plague.
rokhed00 Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 I hope this is the Wii's first online racer. I hope not. Seriously, the Wii deserves better than this for it's first online racer.
Demuwan Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 I hope not.Seriously, the Wii deserves better than this for it's first online racer. True, but the more online the better. Plus we don't know its going to be bad yet, lets give EA a chance: peace: *although it probably will be shit yeh*
Coolness Bears Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 EA will need to drastically improve this game. Year after year they churn out the same game with added layers of shine forgetting to put any content in the game to actually make it enjoyable to play. I bought need for speed carbon stupidly thiking it might be better and was willing to give the wii controls a chance. What i got was a very bland game from EA that oozed of dullness, the controls weren't broken but the whole game felt sterile and lacked any atmosphere, the AI was too easy and often non existent during races which left you driving by yourself, which was boring. The online mode would be good in this game, to help liven up the series but before adding that they have to sort out other major flaws before hand.
