I'm in the process of creating a new flash game, Please note, I've only made up to the 4th level yet and not all the characters have names. Some are referred to as letters for the time being. There may also be some glitches especially audio glitches.

If anyone can confirm that it works in flash players previous to 9 please let me know as I've only tested it in 9 and 10.

 

I also apologize for the awful character art during dialogue, and the fact that some of the humor may not be understood by people living outside of Canada.

 

Bloody hell, you need to turn the volume down. I was wearing head phones and you practically deafened me. Its good though!

I'll do that for the next release. It didn't seem to loud here but I probably have the volume way down on my computer.

You should start at a safe part after every screen. For example if you go up the first screen on the left hand side you die straight away on the next screen.

Perspective type exercise... was drawing a building for a plan for a model I plan on making....

 

Also... I did a gesture of a nude woman at school. I know it's a sketchy subject to post but... it's art... not porn.. and it's not detailed... it's just a really quick gesture with charcoal or somethin... it was weird...

First of all, please post nude pictures normally...it's art, don't let anyone tell you different.

 

The life drawing (if that your first one? I had them every week for a year, so the awkwardness goes away) and the building plan show you have talent, but I don't really like the phone one, and the brick monster thing is good, but a little..off to me.

 

Try to stray away from inanimate objects like phones, boxes, or just the things that are easily available, if trying to improve drawing skills in general. I'm much more of a people person, so I MUCH prefer drawing people and bodies over annoying objects. Maybe that's just me, though.

 

But overall, good. Draw more people or animals though.

I posted it in a spoiler tag because of silly forum regulations that a lot of forums have.

 

It was actually my second life drawing session. The first one I went to was about three months before that though.

 

I expected people to explode in OMG over the "brick monster thing" because this is a Nintendo board :P

 

You're right though, I should try to draw more organic stuff... I fail horribly at it though.... which is why I should try to do it more....

 

Most of my sketching time comes during lunch break... where I get about 15-30 minutes for lunch... so I'll usually sketch down something real quick (like that phone was a 15 minute sketch)

Looks nice Llama Juice. I especially like the last two. =)

 

Even if drawing inanimate objects isn't very fun, it is one of the fundamentals you need for drawing. Or so our art teachers keep telling us. =P

They'll help you a lot with perspective and that kind of stuff.

 

Personally I prefer model/life drawing as well though, since we also get to be a bit more creative with that. And we work on huge sizes (paper almost as big as me). X3

 

Keep practising though, you've got the talent! =D

My plan with the phone picture was to try to churn out a believable shading job quickly. That was my sole reason for drawing it, and I thought it turned out pretty decent :P

I've got a major new release of the game I posted on the last page, so I thought I might as well post another link to it to try and get more feedback.

Also, a few things that were in bits that I had to take out for this release of the game that are important:

 

The password for the level with the guards is "savepeople"

The password for the level after that is "killpeople"

On the levels with the guards you can press the spacebar to use a knife to kill the guards.

I haven't made it quieter yet, so don't play with max volume.
