Roostophe Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 I bought his debut album a few days ago and i've been playing it to death since, It's absolute genius imo, love many of the songs, favourite being "Sheila". Has anybody else here bought this album?
AshMat Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 He is so damn good. Notable songs: Sheila, If you got the money, Salvador, Calm Down Dearest, Back in the Game.
Platty Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I've seen Jamie T support someone last year and instantly liked him... Lauren Laverne on Xfm loves him and plays his stuff to death so much so she made me buy the album! It is a true masterpiece. Very different but good.
Solo Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Who's Jamie T, and what does he/they sound like?
Roostophe Posted February 25, 2007 Author Posted February 25, 2007 Who's Jamie T, and what does he/they sound like? It's quite indescribeable to be honest. There's no real genre he fits in. I suppose you could go onto his MySpace, listen to some of his songs from there, see for yourself. www.myspace.com/jamietwimbledon
Cube Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I suppose you could go onto his MySpace, listen to some of his songs from there, see for yourself. www.myspace.com/jamietwimbledon Sounds quite similar from some of the stuff from Robbie Williams' latest album (Rudebox)
or else you will DIE Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Listening to him and looking at his ugly face makes me want to kill myself in the slowest, most painful way possible.
Eddage Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Listening to him and looking at his ugly face makes me want to kill myself in the slowest, most painful way possible. He's an arsecandle. What they said...
Cube Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Just listened to the album. I think we already have a contender for "Worst Album of the Year"
Platty Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Losers. Open your ears up to something different. I never thought I would like it as it's not really my cuppa tea but I have to admit it has really grown on me and it is a great album.
Eddage Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Losers. Open your ears up to something different. I never thought I would like it as it's not really my cuppa tea but I have to admit it has really grown on me and it is a great album. I gave it a chance, listened to the whole of the album and have heard a number of songs played on the radio/music channels a few time! Its not my fault I don't like it! As for the 'open your ears to something different', well over the past 18 months I have started to like a lot more music that before I would just dismiss so its not like I'm just jumping on a hate bandwagon!
