Posted December 28, 2006 This year was okay... A lot of Ups (U) and Downs (D) but I guess that's life. -Finallly lost contact with my Primary School friends. (D) -Got an awesome new PC. (U) -Played some great games; SoTC, KH2, TP, CSS. (U) -I think I'm starting to develop paranoia. (D) -Both my brothers have now left home. (D) -My Dad's 'near alcoholism' isn't as bad as it used to be. (U) -I've grown 8 inches in 12 months. (U) -My passion for playing the Piano is dying while I'm starting to embrace the Saxophone. (U/D) -I'm doing good at school but the sudden jump in the homework amount I now get is horrible. (U/D) So yeah 2006 was a pretty balanced year, here's hoping 2007 will be awesome. Posted December 29, 2006 2006 highlights that spring to mind for me: - My holiday to New York - My holiday to Ibiza - Noel Gallagher acoustic gig - Damon Albarn, Good the bad and the Queen small gig - Razorlight tiny gig at the barfly - All the other gigs I've been to this year - The ladies, I thank you all for fun times and a bit of hows your father. - The many nights/days out with my mates - My mates in general, best bunch of guys ever - Getting a nice pay rise - Getting my new computer after having the same old one for 6 years. - Going to Old Trafford to watch England vs Jamaica in the last game before they went off to win the world cup.....oh wait - Getting the Wii and finding my love for games again, namely Zelda. Posted December 29, 2006 2006 was a decent year. It was gonna be a pretty poor year infact until December came along and 2 games saved it from being a dire year. Can you guess what it was??? OFCOURSE, Castlevania : Portrait of Ruin and ofcourse Metal Gear Solid™ Portable Ops Konami win 2006. Otherwise, i dont really spill my personal life on internet forums, so all you need to know is that ive been studying Japanese, and 2007 will be the last full year i stay in this country, ever. Posted December 29, 2006 Year has been very good for me in that: I started the year drunk, from the new years eve party of last year and was my first time being drunk so that was an experiece Learned to play the bass and im now in a band =D Played first gig with the band Went to florida in march for a week, was very nice and spent st patricks day in disney world Saw Newcastle actually win 3-0 at the football match i did go to this year Went to australia in august, spent my birthday there which was cool, then went to singapore for a few days afterwards Went to my first concert, MUSE Christmas was very good this year and i got a wii =) Few low points: The amount of work i've had to do has increased this year I actually got stuck in singapore for 5 extra days, once spending the whole day in the airport And a few other things But in all the year has been very good for me :awesome: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted December 29, 2006 Jan-March was unemployed so World of Warcraft around 14 hours a day. March started my current job. July I think it was that my ladyfriend moved over from the US. Posted December 29, 2006 Hmmm 2006 was weird, it was good but with a major bad thing. - In March my mum was diagnosed with mouth cancer, which really sucked. I wasnt close to my mum at all really, and seeing her in hospital with a swollen face and stitches and bruising, and tubes in her...was...jesus..it was awful. Really really awful. The bad thing is its taken sooo long for her to heal and shes still having to feed through a tube into her stomach. Hopefully she will get better soon....She started playing my SP the other day for the first time (Couldnt move arms/hands too well) shes a Tetris fan you see. So thats good. - In April I left Waitrose and went to my first full time job, at HBOS (Halifax Bank of Scotland) Hmmm. Weird stuff. Its good having money, but I cant understand where it all goes...Really! - "Moved in" with my girlfriend. At her/parents house. Its cool though. - DS/DS Lite had a freaking flurry of fantastic games. Ive got nearing 30 DS Games now...and thats cool. - Rule 3. My favourite website HCRealms underwent some changes and pretty much got carper and stricter. It sucked, so me and a friend on there started our own site...Through that I started an internet cult ; - Ill-Ramas. Some of the best dudes I know. Seriously. I feel that I can talk to all of them and its great to have a group of friends/clan like this (And be a co-leader) - Wii. Waited for ages and didnt disapoint. - Finally learning to drive.
