Posted December 12, 2006 Have you noticed most people who haven't got their pre-orders ordered from non-specialist stores, like Argos and Woolies. These companies probably couldn't give two tosses whether they got it in. Where as GAME and gamestation would be screaming down the phone at the Nintendo reps trying to get their stock allocation. Posted December 12, 2006 Its worth bearing in mind that the Wii launch is huge, much larger than PS3 or XBOX360. The demand is extremely high, rather than manufacturers struggling to make units. Its frustrating, but sure to settle after christmas Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

None of them were addressed to moon town Seriously though, I nipped outside and told the bloke and he said to ring argos (tho i just noticed I had too much stuff, not that they weren't addressed to me), I called them straight away, I stayed in on monday rather than going shopping so I could give them back and they're still sitting here. Anyone would think I was asking them to do me a favour! It's hard work being honest. The thing is, shops (gameplay especially) guarenteed people their Wii on launch day, because Nintendo said they were getting X amount, but Nintendo didn't get X to them by launch day. Posted December 12, 2006 i was shopping yesterday and each of the shops i went into had spare nunchuks for sale, easily available. and wiimotes. and wii play. No Wii consoles tho. This was Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland btw, so Moria, take a trip out of Glasgow to Hamilton and in GAMESTATION, GAME and also the naff local retailer there, they all have da nunchuks. i had one preordered from both hmv and play and both never made the preorder.
