Jonwah Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 I reckon Link in LTTP and TP are relations/decendants to the link in oot. And the link in WW was a new one completely unrelated, which is why he had to find the pieces of the triforce of courage again. Link is probably an anomoly in the creation Hyrule, which had a 99.9% perfection.
Jasper Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 I'm taling about the great war that raged in hyrule before Ocarina of Time. The time that Link was brought to the Deku Tree by a desperate mother. That war. It would be great to play someone in thaat universe. I would love to see a good Ganondorf gradually turning evil. Untill now, Ganondorf doesn't really seem to have any reason for his evilness except the wish for power - I want him to seek revenge for something done to him - perhaps during the Great War itself. And I'm not talking about an incarnation, i'm talking about maybe the father of the great hero or something like that? (He is supposed to be dead, so it makes the story compelte - mother things father is dead and wants to protect her child). I really would like to see more details on the history of Hyrule and the main protagonists and antagonists. Give them character and make them feel. It would be a great situation.
That Guy Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 Decided to start just playing it in 1-2 hour bursts now and I'm enjoying it a lot more now.
Eenuh Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 Decided to start just playing it in 1-2 hour bursts now and I'm enjoying it a lot more now. That's what I did. Mainly because I didn't have the time to play longer (though I did a couple of times). Makes the game a bit more enjoyable for some reason I guess. =3 Not sure when I'll play through it again. I want to, but I feel it's still too early. Guess I'll wait till I finish Pikmin 2 and then think about it again.
That Guy Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 OMG I'm on that escort bit where I'm on the horse and there's enemies around me and I'm meant to get that horse and cart to the village safely yet it goes round in circles instead of following the line. WTF??? I've tried killing the enemies but they just keep coming back in true Zelda style... How do I do it before I just give up?

Well you can boomerang the cart if it is on fire to get rid of the fire, but you've just got to keep at it with all the enemies coming back over and over again.

Hit the birds with the bombs - if they drop the bomb just before the wagon, the wagon will turn and do another round. Make sure you got those. That's the best advice.
motion Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Twas a good scene that. Added a bit of variety to the typical Zelda storyboard.
ShadowV7 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I thought that excort part was amazing when I done it the first time, something new and fun.

Yeah, and in this game you get to see majora BEFORE he was turned in to a soul living in a mask. Then the two turn enemies. Who do you think would win? I think Ganondorf would, as he IS the King of evil, shadow and light, Lord of darkness, son of Satan etc etc.

Who do you think would win? I think Ganondorf would, as he IS the King of evil, shadow and light, Lord of darkness, son of Satan etc etc. Wonderfull! Didn't think of Majora, but it might have some great story potential. Maybe Ganondorf can be the Fierce Deity Link - but was turned evil by it. I just want to see a good guy Ganondorf for once and feel why he turned evil. It would be great. Why can't they make such a perfect story with good turning evil and the world falling? Or maybe this: Ganondorf seeks revenge on his greatest enemy (haven't sorted out who yet) and wants the triforce for this, but is then absorbed in a story in wich he is seen as evil. Oh, maybe it could be the King of Hyrule who had isolated the Gerudo for no reason whatsoever. It would be awesome. Is anybody in for a 'the next zelda'-thread?

Make sure you got those. That's the best advice. So all I need to do is make sure the fire is put out on the wagon and make sure to take out the birds with arrows?
Jasper Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 So all I need to do is make sure the fire is put out on the wagon and make sure to take out the birds with arrows? Take out as much as you can, but most of all, take out those birds. They costed my brother six game-hours before we got the clue. We saw that they dropped the bomb just before the long strait to the gate. If you kill them, they'll move on. And off course, don't get it burned.
DCK Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I don't understand the problem with that scene. Frantically bashing Z and B (arrows equipped) worked for me.
Jasper Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I don't understand the problem with that scene. Frantically bashing Z and B (arrows equipped) worked for me. Me too, but some people enjoy knowing what they do. Thinking. I mean, when did thinking do something good for man kind? Pah, thinking.
Hellfire Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 I don't understand the problem with that scene. Frantically bashing Z and B (arrows equipped) worked for me. It's much more fun without lock on. But yeah, I don't see where problem is.

Ganondorf in TWW seemed to me like he was seeking revenge for the destruction of Hyrule.
Jasper Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Ganondorf in TWW seemed to me like he was seeking revenge for the destruction of Hyrule. I don't really think so. It could be possible. But it has nothing to do with that in the Wind Waker. The point is, Ganondorf was just another Bad Guy in the Wind Waker - and I want to see a good ganondorf turn evil. it would make the story so much more involving and emotional, not?
The Peeps Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 If I saw a good Ganondorf it would just ruin my whole idea of who and what he is. I find it's much more exciting when we're faced with pure evil, something with such a hatred for the world that it must be stopped at all costs. If Ganondorf turned from good to evil then in theory he could be turned back to the good side and I suppose in my mind that makes him less evil and less of a threat...
McMad Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 But if Ganondorf went from good to insane then he couldn't turn back. Although that has already been done with Sephiroth, Ganondorf has always striked me as a nutter.
stuwii Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 please help how do you give the springwater to the goron? he doesnt ask me if i have it or not
flameboy Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 don't like the idea of ganondorf ever being good, I prefer him being pure evil...
DCK Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 don't like the idea of ganondorf ever being good, I prefer him being pure evil... He didn't seem all that evil in The Wind Waker. I pitied him.
ShadowV7 Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 In Wind Waker I thought Ganondorf was bad (not as evil as OOT) but he was more sorta still living in past and wanted the original land back. But Ganondorf actually being geniunly good? I wouldn't really like that,I like him being a badass.
