I think people were expecting another Mass Effect 3 scenario. I'll be picking this up, have been holding off purchasing it on Steam for $5 incase it got a Wii U re-release.

Path of Radiance. I actually owned it for a short time but decided to sell it because it didn't hook me in like the handheld titles. Worst gaming related decision I've ever made.

I always expected that Bravely Default would get localised. Considering its been heavily hinted at that it will get a sequel they probably want to build up a fan base. Plus most of their recent big title games have been localised, Type 0 is the odd one out but that's because the PSP was basically dead by the time it released. But then Lighting Returns exists and Versus has been in development for 6 years so I wouldn't be surprised if Square Enix defied all logic.

So around 2 weeks before Fire Emblem? What a smart business decision. I'll probably wait until they have a sale on their online store and get the poster. Seems like most games on their online store still have preorder bonuses included.

Hopefully Lego Iwata makes an appearance in game.

I enjoyed it, though I haven't played a Castlevania game before. Probably will be my first 3DS game for 2013.

It thought it looked pretty good when Shibata held it up during the direct. I've been thinking about upgrading to a XL for a while now, contemplated importing the Pikachu one from the UK. I'll probably be getting this.

Thank god Ghostlight isn't localising this. We will actually get it sometime this year.

Ghostlight twitter says they will announce the release date "Soon" and it will definitely not launch in February. The twitter guy also claims he has had no news on a Devil Survivor 2 release date yet. Does Ghostlight consist of a staff of two people? Two years to release a game that has already been translated into English.

Most Fire Emblem fans view it as the worst. I'd say the best game to start with would be the upcoming Awakening for 3DS.

You're right and solely for the ridiculous Ghost ship chapter. That has got to be one of the most difficult Fire Emblem chapters.

Yep a local store had about 6 copies at release, they are all gone now. It probably had a very small print run.

All the others? there's only been this and Namco X Capcom and sales wise they have performed very similarly. Adding Sega IP hasn't seemed to make any notable difference sales wise. I suppose it's probably cheap for Namco to make though.

Saw the limited edition for $85 at an import store, while Fire Emblem Awakening was $125. Looks like Sega, Capcom and Namco IP don't have that much selling power.

I highly doubt Sega Sammy is going to sell their gaming division. As someone noted above they only just began restructuring and it seems to be working. Their financials for the recent quarter were good, they were able to reduce their deficit by a significant amount. They also announced that hey have aquired the Warhammer Fantasy license a couple of days ago, which I doubt they would have if they are in talks to sell their games division.

I'm disappointed we have to wait until April. I'm very tempted to import a US 3DS so I can play this in Februrary plus to get Code of Princess and Etrian Odyssey 4. I think i'll get my hands on the artbook and soundtrack

Well Nintendo is publishing the Wonderful 101, Lego City Undercover and Ninja Gaiden 3 which isn't out in PAL regions yet. Wii Fit U is also supposed to be a "Launch Window" game.

Same thing happened to a guy on an Australian forum. Cost him $30 AUD to get another one from Nintendo. Your best bet is probably buying a replacement directly from Nintendo.

Yeah I had a go at the demo. I enjoyed it, seems like a great RPG to have on the go. I think I'll buy it when they release it on the e-shop along with Crimson Shroud.
