  1. Sin & Punishment did feature credits for the VC version in particular within the manual, so I'm not so sure about that being an unreleased version. That being said, as far as unreleased games go, they could release Starfox 2 if they wanted to... (or perhaps the BS Satellaview games) Nintendo's Wii VC lineup was missing all of the NES Zapper, ROB and Superscope games, as well as quite a few inexplicable MIA NES & SNES titles like Famicom Grand Prix 1 & 2, Mother 1, Earthbound (now happily rectified), Dr Mario, Tetris, Tetris & Dr Mario, Tetris Attack (Japan DID get PDP though), Wario's Woods SNES, Super Tennis and Tin Star. So there's plenty that remain missing, even without going into unsupported accessories like the SNES mouse (MARIO PAINT! MARIO & WARIO!) But yeah, Nintendo have actually been pretty good about getting their 1st party titles out quickly. It's the 3rd parties that are being slow (except for Capcom, who are doing good so far really). Here's hoping that they start getting into the missing NES and SNES games soon and then crack on quickly with the N64 and GBA cause there's a lot that's missing (The support for N64 VC games on Wii was pathetic!) More importantly, they need to start translating more JPN only titles. It's utterly criminal to not see them capitalise on the success of Fire Emblem Awakening and get to translating the first 6 FE titles for the VC!
  2. 7th of November. Looking forward to battering the lot of you at Tennis
  3. Nice to see that they sorted that issue out (it was silly in the firstplace).
  4. Well Mario Kart 7 is back in the charts, so it has already had an effect on that game. Mind you though, you probably wont see the real effects of that new influx of owners from Pokemon for a while as they'll all be ploughing through X&Y (and those games are pretty lengthy!)
  5. Charts are up! Combined Formats http://www.chart-track.co.uk/index.jsp?c=p/software/uk/latest/index_test.jsp&ct=110015 Individual Formats http://www.chart-track.co.uk/index.jsp?c=p/software/uk/latest/index_test.jsp&ct=110032 Details Pokemon X&Y doubled B&W2's opening week. Wind Waker HD holds on at No 10 in the Combined Formats and 12 in the Individual Formats chart. Not bad Also Nintendo Land returns! (No doubt thanks to the console price drop, because it's not included in the Wind Waker HD bundle).
  6. New videos are out and we needed an actual thread for this game! Jpn advert... Introductory video (NEW TRAINING ACTIVITIES! ) Huzzah! They've added more training stages and minigame modes to each sport! (That Tennis ring exercise sure looks familiar... ) Still no sign of the other 3 sports yet, but here's hoping that they utilise the Gamepad as originally promised in that old concept video!
  7. Ugh! The caves are such a goddamn tease! They all seem to support S3D and they look SO MUCH BETTER than the rest of the overworld (Glitterstone cave in particular looks really nice) You can really tell that they originally designed the overworld with full S3D support in mind and they just couldn't pull it off. Looks so flat compared to the caves Flabebe and it's evolutions are totally AWESOME BTW! I already love the fairy types so far I'll be adding you later on @Adthegreat Be sure to add me!
  8. Alright! Added @Serebii, @Ramar and @gmac. Go ahead and do your part BTW, is it just me or is Exp Share completely broken? It seems to make the game waaaaayyy too easy (I'm not even at the 2nd gym yet and my Pokemon are already at around level 23-25! They'll start disobeying me soon! ) Yeah... Been having way too much fun messing around with the PSS, PR Videos and customisation stuff
  9. Lorule!? REALLY!? I can't believe they actually went with that name, it sounds like a bad fan fiction Suppose we should thank Kamiya for that one...
  10. Well it is technically 60hz, just the 50hz sped up but still 60hz nonetheless.
  11. Well, don't let it be said that the Wind Waker HD bundle didn't have an effect on hardware sales in the UK! http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/wii-u-uk-sales-spike-685-on-zelda-launch/0122477 Yeah, yeah a more than 685% increase on crap is still crap, but it definitely had an effect at least Here's hoping it carries on improving!
  12. Finally started playing... OH MY GOD POKEMON IN THREE DEE!!! It feels really surreal seeing the professor's introduction. Growing up, I always wondered what that scene might actually look like in real life, instead of it being just a representation of your introduction; and now I know (It turns out to be a lot like Zelda Phantom Hourglass' intro!) Just walked out of my door and am already overwhelmed with the prospect of a fully 3D Pokemon (not to mention the billion different options on that bottom screen - looking forward to digging through those!), it's weird seeing everything realised in 3D when you grew up wishing to see what Pokemon would look like in full pologonal 3D! The camera work so far is really good, the intro cutscene was very impressive! (that being said though, I do find myself wishing that I could move the camera around or look in 1st person...), nice to see that Game Freak aren't afraid of using lots of dynamic camera angles throughout! Ok, time to shut up and actually play the game
  13. A BIT laggy!? I'd hate to see your definition of "very laggy"! The game looks like it runs at about 5-10 FPS!
  14. All 3 are 60hz Actually every Wii U VC game is 60hz except for Super Metroid, Harvest Moon and Kirby's Adventure.
  15. Yeah exactly. Besides, it's not like everyone is gonna get it on launch day anyway. Pokemon games always sell over a long period of time; it's more about having all the different regions being able to get in on the action at around the same time and to prevent leaks/impressions from ruining susprises for others who couldn't get the game yet.
  16. Yeah, you're right. It rightfully shouldn't show up at all if it was totall incompatible like other 3DS games (when I had a US 3DS, UK games just wouldn't appear on the menu at all). So I reckon that it might well be a save file issue, since you already had a save file beforehand. Also, does it save any extra data or files to the SD Card? (I'd be surprised if it didn't). Maybe that has something to do with it... (I wouldn't ask you to erase the file to try, but if @Ike hasn't used his game yet, maybe he could give it a try...) Edit Dammit you guys for ninja responding! Cheers BTW @Ike! VERY interested to hear the response
  17. POCKETU MONSTURA EXXSUU AND WHYUUUUU GETUUUU!!! It's wating for me at home Gonna be the longest day of work ever... Cheers! Had a feeling they might pull the same trick as with B&W, B&W2 and Pokemon Conquest. So that means that developers can indeed choose to make their 3DS games region free if they want to... Edit: Oh wait, it doesn't run? Bummer The fact that it shows up at all is encouraging though Could well be a save file incompatibility issue then since you already had a save file on there (does it save anything to the SD card by any chance?)
  18. Couldn't tell you. I've only played the first one... The anime series follows the games though, so maybe that could give you an indication as to whether or not you'll like it...
  19. There is a fast forward feature in battle. I can see that shaving off a LOT of time... Unless they really are just referring to the new "Pay to Win" DLC...
  20. Same here. Working all day today, so it's gonna be a looooooonnnggg day... Good thing I've got Friday and Saturday off!
  21. From my understanding, the gameplay hasn't changed much over the course of the three games (only played the first game myself); so unless you're invested in the story, you're probably best off just going for the 3rd game straight away.
  22. £19.99 is a total rip for the UK, since it's $19.99 and €19.99 elsewhere, but you know what? The free game offer is such a stonkingly amazing deal anyway, that I don't really mind the unfair exchange rate in this case. It's still an amazing deal! (I suppose it's karma for the fantastic exchange rate we got for Ace Attorney Dual Destinies - where the UK pays a pitiful £19.99 )
  23. We're probably not getting the triple pack. They just released the 3DS version of IE3 that was ripped out of the IE1,2,3 Collection in Europe, so they're not gonna want to de-value that game by releasing the whole collection any time soon...
  24. Oh never mind, they're all £249.99 going by Nintendo UK's web store It's being released in limited quantities, so this is probably just a way for them to clear out their unsold inventory of Basic Wii Us.
  25. Looks like we know what those "Mango" and "Cherry" Wii U packs are now! http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-10-10-nintendo-announces-three-new-wii-u-hardware-bundles No prices set of course (though I bet that the latter two will be around £199.99-£219.99). Including Nintendo Land in with the Just Dance bundle is a smart idea. All the bundles include a game that really shows off what new ideas and concepts that the Gamepad offers (and if they bought the console primarily for Just Dance, then there's no reason to not also try out Nintendo Land - especially since it comes with a Wii Remote, so they can jump straight into multiplayer).
