27,000 isn't a bad start, for reference, that's about the same amount that Shovel Knight sold on Wii U in its first week. Not to mention that Xmas is coming just around the corner, so they'll find a lot of new Wii U owners looking for something shiny and new on the eShop for their brand new console in a few days

Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions NE-Meetup anyone?
Dcubed replied to Dcubed's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Hey there. As it turns out, I'm actually going to be working tomorrow, before the concert, after all; so if you the are going to meet up, I won't be able to join you I'm afraid I'm still gonna be there though, but I'm not gonna be getting there early now. I'll be wearing a Rayquaza shirt alongside Ugh first aid though (who should be wearing a Kyogre shirt) though. So be sure to say hi if you see us! : peace: -
Probably sent it all in one big box. Silly Yacht Club, every importer knows that you ship in small amounts at a time in small, light boxes to sneak it past customs. Come on, this is basic stuff :p The funny thing is that I actually do have more than that set, and I'm not even trying to collect them! :p

And whoever said that Nintendo don't keep praying on people's nostalgia... Suddenly Napster makes perfect sense
-
Oh come on Nintendo!!! GIVE US EARTHBOUND ENDINGS ALREADY!!!!
-
Well that's an interesting opinion... I mean, you're wrong; like 100% wrong, but it's interesting Hell I'd rate NSMB2 over NSMBU myself. U was tremendously disappointing for me (NSLU was great though, way better than NSMBU). The level design is just kind of lacking. NSMB Wii's levels were amasingly well designed though! They're just incredible! (And they're just as fun in 4 player as in single player! That's an incredible feat that most people don't appreciate!)

Excellent! Glad to see the best 2D Mario come to the Wii U eShop!
-
Finally! New course elements! The WR/speed rankings are perfect for my levels! At last! You'll all have an excuse to try to speed run my levels by finding The True Speedrunner's Paths and perfecting them!

Mother 3 is now out on the VC in Japan and the Miiverse community is up... You know what to do...

Plot Convinience: The Movie. I have many more things to say, but that is my one overriding thing I have to say right now :p

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1157909 Well that's interesting... Looks like it's coming to PC as well! (after the PS4 version releases). You'd think that Sony would want to lock it down completely -

Amazing to see it happen so fast. Sony was the natural choice for him, given his long standing relationship with them (and his blatant Sony fanboyism in general :p ) Looking forward to seeing him finally get to work on something new! -
WHERE CAN I PREORDER MY BAYO RIGHT FRICKIN' NOW!?
-
So... how many people are gonna end up jumping into Bayo 1 and 2 now, after today's announcement
-
Pretty sure it does, but its counted as a separate rating from the main game. The US trailer was rated T, even though Smash 4 is rated E10, so it'll be sold with a higher age rating than the base game. So yeah, sneaky way of getting away with it
-
You know, it's times like this that you wonder if you're living in a fairytale world. The first Bayo was a commercial flop and chances of a sequel were more or less completely zero. Out of absolutely nowhere, not only do Nintendo save the series with a big budget sequel (that again doesn't sell very well) and then goes ahead and gives it the Amiibo AND the Smash Bros treatment! At this rate, she may even get a bloody 3rd game! Someone calling the shots at Nintendo has damn good taste in games! And to you, I salute you! Godspeed, saviours of quality games : peace: Speaking of which, that was a real gut punch from Sakurai to all those publishers and developers who screw people with fake DLC that was cut out of the base game. Godspeed you crazy crazy, wonderful man! It really says a lot when Cloud feels like a second rate character now with this announcement
-
GLORIOUS! I honestly never thought that she'd be a viable candidate, because of the age rating issue. She also gets to use guns, even though Snake wasn't allowed to. Bayonetta gets a free pass for everything and I LOVE it! If I actually thought that she was a viable candidate, she would've been my vote! That also means a Bayonetta Amiibo, which also means MORE Bayo in other games like Mario Maker as well! I'VE GOT A FEVER AND THE ONLY CURE IS MORE BAYO!!!
-
Oh Kamiya, you sly dog Whelp! I offically have a new main!
-
I've yet to play the sequel, but I really liked the original. It's good fun, even though The Computer Is a Cheating Bastard. I did feel that it could've done with more nuance with the controls, like a technique to turn around more sharply around corners (which FRN actually does have if I'm not mistaken ), but I really did enjoy it. The challenges were pretty addictive as well; twas great fun trying for the best possible times in each!
-
Oh of course it could well be. It just seems strange that they'd bother to take the time and effort when it would be so much easier to just treat it as if it were a Classic Controller.
