  1. This is brilliant. Such a simple idea to implement and it would spark up the wild rumormill of old. I remember the rumor of Mew hiding under the Truck outside the S.S. Anne. I'd like to think that covering up things would bring a return of this sort of culture.
  2. You are a god amongst men. Time to purchase some METROID II
  3. I hate how Awkward the pricing on the e-shop is. I put a tenner credit on my account, and no matter what games i buy, i will always have something left over. Pesky Nintendo.
  4. Totally agree. Ive recently acquired a copy of the collectors edition disc that came with Wind waker and im ready to stick that bad boy on. I've got an ambition that needs fulfilling in this game - I never had the please of Controlling FD link so if i go back, all the masks i must get.
  5. I believe its all about staying on the track and not getting hit. I set myself a target of getting hit only twice a race. And i think the longer you stay in the lead for makes a difference too. Like Ike, i have three stared events with around seven or eight coins per race, but its good to just cover your bases.
  6. Three star rated on everything! The trick is to always be aware what items are on the playing field. Its a bit like football, you can be an amazing player but if you never look up to see whats around you, you will never make it. Utilize the map!!
  7. Is that shit for real?
  8. Despite being stupidly rubbish at Pikmin (some would call me a Pikmin genocide enforcer) I would love this to be a launch title on Wii U. I could imagine that you would have your army stats on the tablet, such as how many pikmin you have, and it would be SOOO much easier to seperate them into squads by just using the touch screen. I amagine the pikmin character models to be updated aswell to make their skin look more vegetable like.
  9. Not really knocking the way Nintendo are doing things, i'm loving that its a massive challenge, it tests your resourcefulness and makes you better. And angrier...
  10. Aye i see what you're saying. Hes still a nasty pasty though. Lol @ Evra trying to knack Suarez on MoTD but going straight through Ferdinand instead.
  11. Trying my hardest to three star all the GP's... Wtf is up with the AI bullying me? Seriously, i couldnt do much more. Dodged my first Blueshell today thanks to a little Tutorial from @RedShell so thanks alot for that, it was MAJESTIC! And i did it whilst there was Black Goo all over my screen, oh yeah. But then next lap another one came my way, and i had no mushrooms to bail my ass out!
  12. Regarding Suarez being a little prick today, if he wanted to get one over on Evra, he should have done his talking on the pitch, by leading Liverpool to victory, instead he riled United and they probably played with more passion because of it. Always been a horrible little boy that one. I remember he got sent off in the world cup playing for Uruguay for using his hands to stop a shot. Dishonourable! Whats with all the frozen pitches aswell? I didnt think it was that cold today
  13. Liverpool aren't racist, they used to have loads of coloured players. But now they've sold them all... and only have one.... Actually, just doing a bit of digging now, list of players sold by Dagleish at all of his clubs: Liverpool: Ryan Babel, plessis, el zhar, ngog. Newcastle: Ferdinand, Hislop and Asprilla But then John Barnes was his assistant manager at Celtic. Strange one....
  14. Just hit you with a belated add, not sure why it took so long but hey
  15. It does sound quite important, and is still the only game in the franchise i havent played. Once i clear my backlog i think ill download this and give it a spin. Approximately how long did it take you to beat Grazza? And are there any special endings for getting all the collectibles in this one?
  16. Agreed, trying to use it like a gun is very inaccurate, as you say there's no weight to it so it's like shakin stevens having a sugar rush trying to aim. Get the pointer in your lap and just use small wrist movements, easy, all it needs is a little stability. Wouldnt have liked it if Nintendo gave it a stock and some weight, they would have had to give it some kickback too, people would have been screwed playing on a rocking chair!
  17. Thats the one, the battery-guzzling piece of tech. Well grazza... maybe next christmas, santa might get his arse in gear and finally bring you it, better late than never!
  18. Beat it.. whatever was i thinking using the classic? Must have been the golden sparkle in my eye.
  19. Is it just me.. or did that trailer just suggest to me that if you make Pit fly around in circles on difficulty 9.0 then you would avoid all projectiles? If thats the case...LAME. The box art is making me excited though. I definately wont need that silly stand though, reminds me of that magnifying glass/ light contraption that you could attach to the old game boy to 'aid' your gaming.
  20. Stop banging on about Majora's Mask being so damn good! Its making me want to buy it from the e-Shop and i'm determined to wait for Project Moonfall. For the record, good graphics a great adventure do not make. Raiders of the Lost Ark > Crystal Skull
  21. Ive played this whole game through on 007 difficulty using the classic controller, and im stuck on the 2nd to last mission in Nigeria, have been since last Christmas actually. Decided to ditch the classic controller and whip out the Motion controls with the settings @welsh_gamer posted ages ago. see if that makes any difference. Ill let you know how it goes....
  22. No problem Grazza, anything to help people get the most out of their gaming! Yeah the difficulty curve is totally backwards and i suppose that gives you the feeling of getting better and stronger as you go along!
  23. I didn't rescue them all, just the ones en-route to the boss room, so i had around six or seven with me each time, possibly more. I never had to buy any mallets, there are a couple of occasions in the game where you pick up a harp which turns all enemies on the screen into mallets. And if you start scaling the climb quick enough during this period, the enemies that were due to pop onto the screen turn into mallets too. I think i got around twenty five mallets in the whole game from doing this. Do the cherubs look like old men to you by the way?
  24. Ohh THOSE rooms, with the Medical symbols in the top corner? They were so few and far between i think i made the right choice topping myself. Those cherubs come in handy during the boss fights actually, apart from the last one, in which they're about as useful as a Nettos carrier bag caught up in a blustery day. Its all about the platforming, and getting to go face to face with those narky witches again once you've powered up so you can blow their screeching little heads off!
