There aren't online leaderboards for Beat the Beat. Beat the Beat is a great game worth buying especially since the European version has the Japanese and American soundtracks but personally I prefer playing 1 game at a time so I'd get Theatrhythm first, wait til I've done all the songs and finished the challenges then get Beat the Beat but if you don't mind juggling games then by all means get it ASAP. When are these games coming out anyway?

I had the game for a couple of weeks then I traded it in! If you liked previous Soul Calibur games and enjoy online multiplayer then you'll love this especially considering how cheap it is now and there is very little lag online, the character editor is really nice too and you unlock more parts as you gain experience points and level up by playing the game. Aside from those 2 features the game is sorely lacking in offline modes compared to previous Soul Calibur games, there's no Weapon Master mode or extra weapons to unlock for characters and the story mode largely focuses on Patroklos and Pyrrha, I don't think you even get an ending for completing arcade mode.

Check your local video game shops to see if they have Rhythm Paradise and Elite Beat Agents, they might be hard to find now but they're stupidly cheap! I'm not even a big FF fan, having only played 7, 9 and Crisis Core but I'm really excited for this game. I've S ranked Man with the Machine Gun on Expert and Sunleth Waterscape on Ultimate already, though I don't see myself being able to do the first song in Ultimate for a long time.

Well I asked NintenDaan about it on Twitter and he said you only type out Pokémon names which isn't really my cup of tea.

It's not like the 3DS XL is designed to be lugged around in your pocket so portability shouldn't matter that much. They could have ZL and ZR buttons like on the Wii's Classic Controllers if they didn't want to make the system thicker or just have 2 thin shoulder buttons like on the original PS1

If the 3DS is the only means you have to play it on then by all means go for it, but if you have a Wii or any other system then I highly suggest you get it on one of those instead. The main problem with the 3DS version is that the game doesn't run as smoothly as the others so while you're running and jumping about you might notice the game stuttering which can really interfere on the later stages which require precise timing to get past the obstacles.

I hope no one's forgotten about this game! Official Nintendo Magazine have reviewed it in their latest issue, giving it 90% and the release date is 6th July.

I wish the multiplayer mode was split screen instead of forcing both brothers to stick together, there's really no point to a limitation like this when players have their own screen to watch. Not to mention that the DS game let players go as far as they wanted within the battle stages

Anyone play the Mega Man Battle Network or Star Force games? The sticker thing reminds me of the chip/card system from those games, I think I might actually pick this up now. I was worried this game would just be a inferior version of Mario & Luigi like the first 2 are but now it looks interesting with the new battle system. Here's hoping they introduce new party members instead of having a Goomba, a Koopa and a Bob-omb...

Nothing wrong with the 360 pad PRO or whatever it's called lol, you guys are just worried cause it looks different. The only way I can see it being a problem is if you have the hands of a 4 year old. New Super Mario Bros on the Wii U looks nice... That zombie thing was embarrassing to watch. I really don't know what to make of the Miiverse, I guess it's like a better version of Playstation Home?
