The BBC have signed up for the show to run until at least its 38th series; given that two series are broadcast every year, this would bring it to the end of 2009.[1] Series 35 is to start on 18 April 2008.[2] EDIT: Beaten, also this would be its 18th year.

This season i've decided I'll watch Soul Eater Kurenai and Kyouran Kazoku Nikki. I think everyone should give kurenai a go, could be the under appreciated show for the season. EDIT: oh also Mnemosyne if the 3rd episode pulls me in

Just had my interview, fucked up a couple of questions, under achieved on a few others but when I started feeling less nervous i think I made a better impression. Don't know what the result will be, find out in less than a week.

It was a shame that WWII happened but it had its advantages... it greatly accelerated invention of computers and the internet. In a similar way guns rapidly improved health care. Not to say that it balances out but they have their silver lining.

Virgin should be boycotted for supporting attempting to destroy net neutrality. They also cap you to 3gb during peak times and cap your connection afterwards. How much are you looking to spend per month?

Guns were introduced into the US so that should the goverment become corrupt the people would be able to rise up and overthrow them.

Err, I think you should have expanded on your definition of conventional before you posted. How is a gun not a convential weapon? I can kill someone with a knife, stick or teapot cosy as well, does that make them unconvential? To summarise my opinion: Introducing guns into a society shouldn't be necessery. Removing them where they are established (such as the US) is dangerous and likely an impossibility.

Group called Tadashi did a translation of Soul Eater. I don't recommend it. The video quality seems to be worse than the others and their translation seems way off when compared to the others. So far the best I've seen is LoneWolf. Rumbel subs didn't work on MPC for some reason, although they loaded fine on VLC (which then proceeded to murder them).

On thursday I have an interview over the phone for a position as games tester at a great developer. It'll be a temp job but should last me the summer and if they offer me a job at the end I'll take it. This is an amazing opportunity for me if I want to look for a job later. I have to re locate and the pay is very little but it's the experience that is really valuable here. The thing is i've never had to do an interview before, phone or in person. I don't imagine they'll be grilling me too hard and I do know my stuff, but I want to be prepared. So, can anyone recommend a book they found good for preparing for interviews. I don't want a big list of questions and answers, just an idea for the attitude I should take and what they're looking for (although I have a pretty good idea already of the latter). Thanks.

There's a show called Kyouran Kazoku Nikki about a guy who is forced to marry a catgirl god and adopt a family of 5. A gay teenager, a talking lion, a 12 year old girl, a robot that's a trained assassin and a jellyfish. O_o It's ridiculously fast paced, especially in regards to dialogue. Visually it's a lot like Hayate. It's pretty funny, i'll probably keep watching.

I bet VLC is the main reason it has taken so long for the anime community to transfer to MKV/X264. Traditionally xvid/avi's have been hardcoded and they've come out pretty and vlc can't fuck things up that bad but when people started watching MKV's they were like "wtf is this shit" and went back to AVIs.

You could call a local computer store and they can probably fix it for about £30, mine did at least when my sisters laptop had a similar problem.
