Btw, I updated MH (Wii U) and then transfered my save file from the 3DS to the Wii U, the process was smooth as silk and playing with the GamePad felt great.

Never played the game, however I did watch the cartoon series. It was enjoyable.

I can see this game getting a sale at some point so I'll hold off for now. Too many games around the same period.

Haven't tried the Wii U version yet, but I think noise coming from the disk drive depends on what game you're playing. When I played NSMBU or NintendoLand it was silent, but when Black Ops is running I can hear those sounds that you described. I think zechs made a post in the Black Ops thread mentioning something along those lines some time ago. Maybe it's to do with how hard the drive is working? perhaps some games are constantly retrieving data from the disc that these noises are made?

Haven't had that problem before and I've transferred twice. What's the error message/code?

Should be soon seeing as they've submitted the recent patch to Nintendo. If all is clear then we should be getting the latest version of the game in a matter of weeks.
