  1. "Pic of the day. Now consecutive standard attacks will always transition into a finishing move. This is Fox's finishing kick after his standard combo attack."
  2. Didn't really know where else to put this:
  3. "Pic of the day. There are actually two versions of the boxing ring stage! This ring is the Smash Bros. version…" "…and this one is the Punch Out!! W.V.B.A. design. King Dedede really likes fighting in the ring, doesn't he?"
  4. Ditto. The crowd were really vocal too and that always helps.
  5. "The twin rocketbarrels are back, now with the ability to launch along more horizontal trajectories. They can also come off when opponents hit them mid-boost."
  6. Great result for Norwich city but I'm really looking forward to the Liverpool/Swansea highlights. It sounded like an absolute cracker!

Now that's a cushion I would never use. I'll just put it on display!

Just out of interest do you watch any sports?

  8. Arsenal 4-1 Sunderland. Comfortable game today, just what Arsenal needed but unfortunately we managed to pick up some new injuries with Koscielny & Wilshere although both don't look that bad. Monreal came off earlier most likely was an injury too (no idea what happened). Giroud with two goals and an assist but Rosicky's goal was right up there amongst the goals of the season.
  9. Been reading Kuroko no Basuke & Slam Dunk the past week. Really enjoying them both.
  10. My little brother was good with Diddy. He was quite the pest during matches. Might use him this time around.
  11. "Pic of the day. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is out now in Europe and North America! ...And to celebrate, Diddy Kong joins the battle!!" "We've increased Diddy Kong's flexibility this time. This picture shows how far his punches stretch during his strong side attack."
  12. Considering that this is his first season in a new Country, a new culture, a new League and a new team I think that's he's okay overall. Not to forget that he's used to having 1-2 week winter breaks in La Liga where the pace is already a lot slower and there are more stoppages in play thanks to the "gamesmanship" attitude over there. Also the BPL is the most competitive league without a doubt, and this season is another great example of that. I won't lie, the past few months his performances have been quite poor overall, but what people seem to forget is that Mesut Ozil is at his best when his attacking team-mates are making dangerous runs. He seemingly hit the ground running earlier in the season no thanks to players like Ramsey & Walcott constantly making runs. Even if he didn't pass to them, their runs made space for others like Wilshere & Giroud (who scored most of his goals during that time as well) who would benefit too. At Madrid he had Ronaldo, Benzema & Di Maria making runs around him which almost always resulted in a goal. He's starting to pick up a bit now. The first 15/20 minutes against Bayern last night. Liverpool in the FA Cup and Man Utd before that. However, if you noticed that also tied in with Chamberlain's return from injury. Ozil needs these players around him. I'm confident that he'll have a much better second season without question. The man is undoubtedly world-class.
  13. Game plan was tossed out the window last night. First Gibbs' injury, then the ref killed the game with the red card and ruined Santi's night with the forced substitution. Didn't feel nervous at all prior to the game, I knew that Arsenal can get at them and score. Was so frustrating. Seems highly unlikely that Arsenal will get through but they're not out of the tie yet. The only plus is that instead of concededing 3 away goals last night it was 2. Time to focus on the BPL now. Sunderland at home next.
  14. "Pic of the day. As shown in Little Mac's debut video, here is the height difference between Samus and Little Mac. He's used those mighty green gloves to punch out many challengers bigger than himself."
  15. Awesome isn't enough to define this breathtakingly neat video game collection. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/02/18/beautiful-game-collection_n_4808710.html?ir=Technology http://imgur.com/gallery/FO9jM/new
  16. "Pic of the day. This dog is huge… Wait, no, the playable characters are small. The Smash Bros. series doesn't always stay true to scale."
  17. Was a very comfortable game for Barcelona. They dictated the entire pace of the game and never went beyond second gear. It could've been 4 or even 5-0. You tell em, Cesc!
  18. It's so good to have you back, mate.
  19. "Pic of the day. Hey look, a bottle!! This is a special item that can even heal fighters who have accumulated over 100% damage."
  20. I say we freshen up this thread a bit. Let's try this. First Manga you ever read? First anime you ever watched in its original form (sub included)? For me the answer to both those questions is Eyeshield 21. It's another coming-of-age story that follows first year high school student Kobayakawa Sena. He's the cliched weak, small, bullied kid that joined (actually he was forced by the team captain who's also a bully ) the high school American Football team. His abilities come to the fore as he steps onto the field as Eyeshield 21, Demon Devil Bats (the name of his high school football club) Running Back. His remarkable speed, small stature and agility helps him dart past the opposition to lead his team's attack. But by no means does this make things easy. No, not even close. Despite following a "basic" structure the story was excellently executed but perhaps it helps that I was a complete American football noob and learnt the rules and techniques as the story went on. There are so many different characters in the story let alone the team and they've been well developed too. The series is quite funny and I really enjoyed the interactions between them. What really drew me into the series at first was the art; it fits the genre and story like a glove. It's so consistently good that I ended up dropping the anime (which I enjoyed don't get me wrong) and focused on the manga instead. It's almost like you can piece the plays together and watch it flow in your head and I find that it really helps especially when the matches are packed full of strategy and action. Such a visual treat. The funniest thing about this is that I've never finished it Read up to volume ~13-16 (honestly can't remember) and stopped because... I have absolutely no idea whatsoever Buuuut since it's been so long since I last read it (6 or 7 years now?) I'll start from the beginning
  21. Nope, I wanted to buy/play it after I replayed the earlier games (finished Ace Attorney) but now it's on sale so I'll at least download it.
