Looks gorgeous in vids. Shame it won't look anything like that on the gamepad. Gives me another reason to moan at Nintendo for not going with 720p screen resolution on the pad. To be honest if I had a choice over playing this game on the current low res gamepad or 3DS I would rather it was released on the 3DS. Gamepad hurts my hands, hate the rubbish battery life and playing this game on my travels would be perfect.

Taiko is great.. I have band Bros also. Puyo Puyo Tetris I am now thinking maybe PS4 version unless the 3DS version gets a price drop.

3DS is more than capable producing a fully fledged dragon quest RPG. If your using the PS2 game as an example then there is no reason for this not be done on the 3DS if that's where the next game goes.

I have spent a whole lot more time with 3DS smash over Wii U version and I am not counting the weeks I played it before I received the Wii U version. Smash on the 3DS was a brilliant move by Nintendo. I love it and Wii U version hasn't changed my opinion at all.

Nice marketing ploy from Nintendo but the one probleme especially with Wii U is that it's all nintendo games. What does someone do once they have played them all or want something different. Example I came across recently at work. Guy looking at buying new console for his son. Asked me about Wii U, told him about the good games etc. Said his son loves Mario kart but also loves fifa, loves COD and FPS games in general. Currently plays forza on 360 also. Once I told him that there is no driving sims, no football games, no shooters etc he said he is will have to get PS4 or xbox one.

regarding the weather patch. have any of the world tour races now got weather included in races as I have yet to come across it. do we only get weather on single races?

i tried to copy everything and i get a message saying the micro sd is not readable. I guess thats because the data is tied to the new 3DS i lost. nintendo really do need to start offering cloud saves. I got my NNID back (not an easy thing to do) and managed to download my software again for free but my saved game data is gone which is annoying. nintendo can do it. they will just give you hassle and headache before they do though!

have nintendo printed low stock with this game? cant even pre-order it on amazon.

add RIM with the blackberry phones and the tablet they released also. they advertised loads and it achieved nothing! if people are not interested in a product then no amount of marketing will change that opinion. like you said, the time to advertise was before and in early stages of release. the problem was that the advertising that nintendo did do was really bad and then the fact that that there was very little software to advertise with the machine.

mmm thats not a good sign and it looks like they never sent any review copies out. looks like it could be just a port of the smartphone version to be honest instead of being developed ground up for the 3DS.

need some help after losing my new imported 3DS. only had it a week bought a new one but i couldnt do a system transfer as the original machine is gone. After days of painful discussions with nintendo customer support they finally unlinked the NNID and allowed me to use that with new machine. I can redownload my software but was wondering about my game saves. these are backed up so i have access to them but have no idea if i can just copy and a paste a certain folder over to the new micro sd card? is this possible and if so do you know which folder i should be selecting. thanks

Isn't it more of a case that Nintendo know full well that they can't turn around Wii U fortunes so why bother throwing money at advertising which at the end of they day won't make a major difference. Nintendo are looking to ride this generation out cheaply as possible.

Sales for smash are good. Hardware not so much and pretty much now confirms that no game will turn around hardware sales. Also anyone who questions Nintendo releasing smash on 3DS first needs help. Very smart decision by Nintendo. Wii U is Toxic!

I got my game and gamecube adaptor bundle day 1 from amazon. Pre-ordered soon as it was announced. Haven't even used the adaptor as can't find my gamecube controllers.

That is strange. I would guess it is a mistake and your 3DS will be with delivery driver today if it landed in Stansted yesterday.
