Green Lantern is, potentially, the best comic book hero for videogames. This, however, will be a rushed movie game and be totally average.

seems an odd one. my namesake is a really old comic book character my dad read about as a kid. Nobody knows it any more. It's like a sub Buck Rodgers thing.

Loads being announced! From Marvel there's a new Mark Waid penned Captain America origin story. Like Iron Man: Extremis, it's bringing his awakening forward to modern times A new Power Man and Iron Fist ongoing, which features a new teenage Power Man rather than Luke Cage A new Iron Man/ Thor team up

Yeah the problem with H3 forge was that it was totally bootstrap at first it was basically them saying 'ok now you can play with wepaons, spawns and some geometry items in our maps' Then people started building crazy shit, so they built Foundry and said 'ok now you can make maps in this space!' but only with the tools from before, which weren't designed for it so it caused all sorts of problems with items clashing and not fitting together so then they built sandbox and said 'ok now all the items fit together and you have proper spaces' but the tools never got upgraded. Now it's the space cranked up to 11, plus the tools are actually designed for maps, not items. It's a pretty significant jump and really opens the possibilities

OK guys. Major update. Bungie just announced Forge World, which is kind of Forge 2.0 but....Good lord it's just insane. It's absolutely unreal. I can't even begin to imagine what's going to come out of this.

Yes! Yeah what Rez said. TWD is an ongoing 'survival drama' that takes the usual movie format of 'plague breaks out, society is destroyed and a few survivors group together' and, rather than using that 90 minute format where everyone ends up dead by the end of the movie, takes the characters through several months and years of trials and challenges. It's absolutely brilliant. It's the perfect serial drama, emotionally and psychologically challenging, thrilling and terrifying in ways I've never experienced before and certainly didn't expect from 'just' comic books. Enjoy

OK that was me I reopened the comics thread because nobody except a few core members talk about comics here so you don't want us to flood the board with smaller threads (and in order to discuss what we read every week, we absolutely would) and there doesn't seem to be a more elegant solution to that problem. Music, by comparison, is relevant to pretty much everybody and I personally think that smaller threads highlighting artists and albums is going to generate more discussion than an all encompassing mega thread (and one we heard no end of complaints on saying it was daunting and unfriendly) It wasn't favoritism or anything ( I love my music way more than comics) it just felt like the best solution to the issue at hand.

i didn't get it. I've not read ASM annual whatever it was they took those pages from so the entire structure of the book was lost on me. Not read OMD either so....yeah, major headache for me. First one with Marvel for ages.
