  1. You should read the graphic novel. It's somewhere in the region of ten billion times better. not a bad film effort, for the most part, but the pen is mightier than the camera...
  2. Gamertags then? Tree Finger is my mates. He has the 360. We'll both be after some party action. Note: There are no custom game settings. This is a matchmaking test afterall.
  3. Happy birthday, kiddo.
  4. Snakes was one of the best films ever devised by mortal man. anyone who thinks differently is a dictionary definition of 'missing the point'
  5. Volta is a brilliant album. anyone not in agreement is a deviant and must be punished at the stake.
  6. you're all god damn unwashed heathens.
  7. Thicko sense...tingling...!
  8. Sgt. Pepper is too much a period piece. Revolver is the more listenable choice.
  9. oh yeah, totally. But I'd say Revolver is the best album to buy for the new comers or, in fact, any human being with functioning ears.
  10. Revolver is their best. I reckon so anyway. New Bjork is brilliant. Utterly wicked
  11. Anyone else pick up the new Bjork album yet? I think it's utterly fantastic. super megalific, like. also, how do I do umlauts on a keyboard?
  12. OK! we have an official timeline explanation! Apparently there are no multiple realities, simply one that changes. In future Hiro's original timeline, Sylar kills Claire, takes her ability and becomes invincible without anyone knowing or being able to stop him. Hiro tries to stab him after this event and fails. New York is Destroyed, Nathan replaced etc. five years of research later, Hiro finds out about Claire and Peter, travels back to the subway train, warns Peter about 'Save The Cheerleader, Save The World' and then Returns to his own time, five years on. When Hiro arrives, he finds Present day Hiro in Issac's apartment. From this point, history has changed. Claire is still alive, meaning Sylar isn't invincible anymore. Thing is, killing Sylar is a two part job and because present Hiro jumps forward 5 years, he never confronts Sylar before the explosion. This is why the future has only partially been saved. By rescuing present day Hiro, the mission can be completed and the events of Five Years Gone can be avoided. hope everyone gets that
  13. the final fantasy review is quite possibly the truest thing I've ever heard. It's brilliant.
  14. so is this dude. Listen to him destroy FFVII and laugh like a cracked up meth fiend.
  15. You know what, the first film is actually better than I remember. It's really rather brilliant.
  16. fucks sake, why is this thread still alive?
  17. http://www.actionbutton.net/podcasts/ Feel the wrath. Fans of Twilight Princess may be offended.
  18. I predict it will be rubbish. 20p says so.
  19. Blind Guardian fucking lick nuts
  20. oh, so I did. Consider Bret 'I shit on hope' Ratner's monster included. temped to agree with you. Firstly, Carnage is wank, beloved only by 13 year old boys and Venom fanboys. Also, Venom would only warrant one film to himself, although it could be a good one. His Spider powers etc include knowing all of Parker's secrets, so it could have made for a good plot if Venom blackmailed and tortured Peter with his knowledge.
  21. You clearly haven't seen: Fantastic 4 Batman Forever/ And Robin DareDevil Batman Forever/ And Robin Catwoman Batman Forever/ And Robin The Hulk Batman Forever/ And Robin The Phantom Batman Forever/ And Robin think I forgot one Batman Forever/ And Robin
  22. it...it was so fucking awesome...gyyyaaahh!
  23. It's not really a retcon when it's a new rendition of the universe.
  24. as I'm a proper published critic and such...
