Thats the pic right? The only thing I see is a Dragon that looks very Toriyama art style, but that could mean anything. I really hope we see Dragon Quest X info, but I am being as negative as I can be now just so I don't get upset if they show bugger all.

Truth be told, I don't really care, if they can make the battle system faster then what they had in DQVIII I'll be happy, DQIX was very well paced. But I seriously wish for another mode, something like Dragon Quest V remake would be a perfect different option. I found the website H-O-T forgot to put a link too, and looking at it, it has no mention too Dragon Quest X. Seriously this game will most likely be shown at a press conference just dedicated to the series before being shown in a magazine

But why do we need the same fucking game over and over again? It was getting stale, Nintendo knew that even Rare knew that, Retro has brought life back into the series. I will keep going on about Donkey Kong Country 3, the game is perhaps far bigger and far better then the other Donkey Kong Country games, yet is considered the worst. And the designs and everything about the old Donkey Kong games are pure bad designs now, seriously, wanting to the Kremlings back is just awful How anyone can tell me that looks good today in this day and age, it's plain awful. I love the new enemies, the simple designs is exactly what Donkey Kong needed. Returns has better style, better level design, is more fun, and the game is all about Donkey Kong. Next game can have underwater, only if it works well, I think I would be bored to death having the same old underwater levels in the Donkey Kong games. But yeah that ends my rant, I prefer this game over the others easily. Wii has the greatest platformers ever created, suck it haters :D

Who knows what Nintendo are playing at at the moment, I mean we are now starting to get DS games that we thought we would never have gotten. Perhaps Nintendo have a whole new plan on bringing out games where at the end of it's life it doesn't have to be finished, but casually drift away, with awesome games.

WHo knows about the 3DS's street pass. It's interesting to see at least. This time people don't need a specific game to be in to get something making it much more user friendly. I think this feature will be in from now on, although perhaps not creating your character but more around the clothing and equipment you have on (Although I see no damage having a customized character now anyway) Yuji Horii likes to always try something new in each Dragon Quest game,to make sure it's always new and fresh. I shall be very interested in seeing what he pulls off on the Wii tbh. And with Nintendo sticking very closely with the series now, I am sure he can do whatever he wants(Heck I think Genius Sonority is the one developing this game with horii, not Level 5 this time.)

Dragon Quest III was the best selling game in the series until Dragon Quest VII came out, then VIII sold about the same then IX came in and sold like a million more. Plus this is Dragon Quest, Horii goes to where the biggest crowd is, which is the Wii, now that the DS is dying and the 3DS is approaching, but releasing it on the 3DS is not very Dragon Quest, since 3DS has 0 userbase at the moment

Fair enough, I never liked the idea of new years resolution, so many people don't achieve their goal doing it. I just don't like the idea of waiting for that day, you start getting comfy saying 'I'm going to be the best on the 1st of Jan!' but then on that day they usually say 'I'll be my best tomorrow' and then completely forgot it in a week or two. Hence why I say, if you want it, go and get it right now, screw waiting for the day.

I would have been excited for this game to come out, but Inazuma Eleven and Dragon Quest VI are coming out...so this game might have to wait for a couple of months. Unless there is some downloadable crap that starts right away when the game comes out, Serebii? Any chance?

This thread has now told me that I should always ignore what Capitan falcons posts since his taste in gaming is really screwed up, how the hell can someone praise such a shit game like Sonic Colours yet give little praise to this game which is a bajillion billion trillion infinity times better then ANY Sonic game made. There I said it.

We don't even know what Nintendo do now when it comes to announcements and release dates, I think having no knowledge of the game is for the best for all of us. I am more interested in the gameplay now more then anything, I remember how Iwata was commenting a fair few months ago how the Zelda team were very impressed by Monster Hunter 3 and what they could pull off on the Wii. Perhaps they might implement something similar to that of MH3, how hacking and slashing will only get you so far and being prepared is always a must. I did notice how there was a shortcut button for allowing link to drink a potion. Perhaps they will have a guild and a main story, once finished with the main story you keep going down to hyrule to fight different monsters

It's interesting when you say that, I think I remember an interview with some guys from Retro Studio's during E3 this year and they talked about how, even when the game is done in Nintendo's eyes it's half way. This is prob why most Nintendo games feel so polished. Miyamoto saying it's half complete could mean any bloody thing really.

Only reason I think the YoY is so down is because of the huge amount of spending Nintendo have been using for the 3DS, I think every time a new system is about to come out Nintendo's YoY has always been in the negative, might be wrong though. But yeah seriously,I think just wait until the sales for this month are in worldwide, this month will really show how strong or weak the Wii is.

People should seriously stop doubting it not coming to europe, the pal region is where Dragon Quest sells the best outside of Japan. Heck it's Dragon Quest IX is the 2nd most bought DS game in Australia at the moment. EDIT: Noticed the T rating, first for a Dragon Quest game in the west.
