I'm a bit ashamed to say it now but I used to play for 12 hours sometimes more on my gamecube. Mostly that was on Phantasy star online though. My Cube still works after a year of playing PSO most nights and then about 6 months of PSO CARD 3. However I'm now on my 3rd PS2. Both previous PS2's lasted just under a year each and the first ps2 only had 2 games brought for it in its life yet somehow got the ‘Disc read error’ problem.

I think Demo's would a really good thing especially for the Wii. A lot of people would look at something like Trauma center and think its a little weird and not buy it because they can't imageing it being fun. A demo of a game like that would be perfect to show of how good it is etc Useing WiFi would be good too, the only reason I can think of them not doing it would be the Wii's memory for saving these demo's.

It would be cool if they did make demos but even if Nintendo themselfs decided not to, third party companys could. Remember when NGC magazine had a splinter cell demo for the gamecube?

Did anyone catch RAW on Monday night? The part where Hogan was beating up the fake Hogan was really clumsly and just a mess, not a good thing to see leading up to a PPV. Oh yeah apperently the reason Undetaker and Khali won't be fighting each other at the PPV is because Khali messes up so much they would rather Taker and him had a prerorded match that they can edit, which is why their match is this Friday on Smackdown,

I hope its no more then £120. Nothing I've seen for the Wii so far has made me think its worth anymore then that.

Mortal Kombat 2: I remember when this first came out, one of the first few arcades in the country happned to be in a arcade in Croydon 9where I live) and Gamesworld did a special on it and Big boy barry came down to play it. I hate to think how mucn money I put into this game but it was great trying to find out fatalitys and moves those first few weeks Jurrasic Park The Lost world: Made by Sega, I got to play it at Sega world in London 10 years ago. It was a light gun game and a lot of fun but also expensive.One of the reasons I brought the Dreamcast was because I thought it would be a given it would ge a Dreamcast release.

Have to say thanks to Bluestar, I must of been living under a rock or something but I'd never heard of Cadillacs and Dinosaurs until I read his post, now I've played it and would like to add it as one of my favourties. Pure 80's arcade fun.

They Just release the PSU "Premiere disc" which is basically a demo of the game with a bit of offline and online mode on it (Sorry Japan only). Someone's been kind enough to record himself playing and put the video up at youtube: Hey Shadow, hope you don't mind me asking, how come you can get the Wii online but not your PS2? Edit- some stuff from pso-world: ( not new info but just incase its new to some of you) PC and Playstation 2 owners will play on the same servers and online accounts will be interchangable. There is no offline-multiplayer mode. Given the strain that Phantasy Star Universe puts on the Playstation 2, it was simply impossible to incorporate a split-screen mode. The online game flow will work like this: city-> mission -> resupply area -> mission -> goal lobby. Missions are expected to take between 15 minutes and 1 to complete. Goal lobbies will contain relaxing settings such as hot springs. For online play, the servers will handle most of the data processing. If any glitches are discovered, it will be easier to issue patches. If a client patch is needed for the Playstation 2, the patch will be downloaded to a memory card. The HDD is not supported. Online cheating will simply be impossible according to the developer. Online character names will not be unique. The Playstation 2 version will not have a screenshot function due to its memory limitations and lack of an Internet browser. Sonic Team is hoping to release a fan site kit that will contain things such as banners and fonts. Even when you are not online, time will continue to pass in the online world. For example, people will be able to visit your room and buy items from your Player Shop - if it has been setup.

It got me playing Phantasy star online for a ridicules 1500+hours over the course of a year and a bit while making a few friends along the way. It got me Playing Resident evil 4 which I honesty feel is one of the greatest games created, had me playing Wind Waker which I love (just a shame about the triforce collecting stuff). Countless multiplayer Smash brothers match’s and just having a good time getting the trophies, my first taste of Animal crossing, online tourneys on Phantasy star online 3, beating a par of Bongo drums in my living room in tune with a monkey (Donkey konga 1 & 2), playing the pure awesomeness of Donkey kong Jungle beat, playing Ultimate muscle again in endless multiplayer, Mario Smash Tennis had a brilliant multiplayer mode also that can take hours of your life without you even knowing it, had me swearing in frustration at the challenges on F-Zero GX and the two Pikmin games which where perfect to play on the cold winter nights last year. Unlocking the hidden ships and levels in Starwars rouge leader. I'm sure there's more, I played my gamecube almost al the time and I plan to try and get a lot more games for my cube that I missed (Chibi robo and the two mega man collections are next). I can see myself still playing in in a couple of years.

Getting corrupted on Phantasy star online for the gamecube got me angry, mainly because it happened at level 147 to me.

Hey man I got those too, I won mine on the PSO account site, also, the ammount of people in a game is 6 but I'm pretty sure someone said you can set that to whatever you want on pso-world (I might be wrong though)

Yeah I think the room feature is awesome I can't wait to mess around with that. All my local shops still sell GC games but have very little shelf space for them. However what little games they have for the cube are all the best selling games which most people already own (Zelda WW, Metroid prime, Mario party 4 and Mario Sunshine). I am beginning to wonder if by Christmas time the only place I will be able to buy Twilight princess will be online.

I don't think that’s in either but judging by PSO, they'll probably have a version 2 or something somewhere down the line probably with added multiplayer and challenge mode (I hope). I kind of suprised they didnt put multiplayer mode in the game. At the very least they could of allowed a second player to control a character in the offline story mode.
