The Peepsville Mafia The day began like any other. Mayor Peeps wandered out on to the balcony to grace the crowding masses with his presence. Ok, so maybe it was a special occasion. There aren't always hundreds of adoring fans waiting for him. It was Peepsville's 100th anniversary since being founded by Reginald Peeps who spotted the perfect place to start his new town while out riding his dragon (historical records are kept by the Peeps family). He did a backflip off the dragon and landed with a ground pound, thus marking the town centre. The small crater can still be viewed within the town museum which had been built around it. It most certainly was not caused by Reginald Peeps falling off his horse and he was most certainly not obscenely overweight. Mayor Peeps was about to begin his encouraging speech when he noticed a red speck on his arm. He tried to brush it away but it merely moved across to his chest. A shot was heard and Mayor Peeps suit was ruined. He was also shot through the heart. Rules: Day phases will be loosely 48 hours. The day may be extended if there is an on-going discussion. Talking about the game at night is forbidden Posting after death is forbidden (one post to say how you are sad to not be playing such an awesome game anymore is fine - but don't give anything away) Night phases are 24 hours which I may extend as I see fit Standard rules and such apply, PM me with any questions. The town needs a new mayor! Anyone can become mayor by getting a majority vote - votes for mayor will only count in this format: Elect: "player". You can withdraw or change your vote as often as you like. At the end of each day phase a new mayor will be elected if they have the most votes. Alternatively people can vote for no mayor. Anyone can become mayor but there are a few special candidates who will earn extra abilities by becoming mayor. Some players have been given the names of who their character supports the most in their role PMs - that's mostly just for character flavour/background and doesn't indicate anything about that character. If this comes bundled with the console then great. I don't think I'd buy it seperately though.

The name is such a tortured way to put a U in the title. Love a good zombie game though, hopefully this will be as good as it looks.

@Paj\! @Tales @Yvonne Inactivity helps no one. I'm not sure what to decide for Jimbob. I don't agree with Chairdriver's theory that the mafia are heroes as myself and mr-paul are good characters and I know at least I'm town. mr-paul seems a safe bet too. Jimbobs power is really scummy but his gameplay is not. What time is the day set to end? oh and @Chaidriver does it make sense for Jimbob to be forced into posting in green if he's Radiation Man? @chairdriver sigh

Well yeah you obviously cause radiation poisoning so you are the cause of the vomiting/hallucinating etc. I'm guess DuD and mr-paul both got that in their PMs too. I don't see why you'd choose to do this to mr-paul after he came out with his role (the only one to do so before today?), especially after he said he is a tracker. But I also don't see why you'd choose to be so open about your role when it's only making you look more scummy.

I couldn't get on with Virgin Media yesterday and I came home from work at about midnight still unable to get on. I changed my DNS to Google's and that fixed it. This page tells you how. @Shorty I am still unable to login to the front page with my forum details. I get this error:

Is Jimbob the one causing the sickness and vomiting then, maybe some kind of radiation poisoning or something? I experienced that on night 1 and it nerfed my abilities for night 2, so perhaps Jimbob did get us the wrong way round DuD? I think that's enough votes for now, we need Jimbob to go into more detail about his role.

I was thinking that but on the N64 controller we used the C buttons in the same way we now use the second analogue stick and they were positioned above A and B too. I think it will take a minute to get used to and then feel as natural as the N64 controller does.

I used to have it left-aligned and now it looks weird any other way. I would love the n-europe scheme but instead of centred, have it leftinated

I have a feeling Jimbob might be neutral if he's not mafia. Hulk doesn't seem to fit in with any of the characters revealed so far and we've heard very little from Jimbob so far.
