Yeah, its depressing really. I cant play + complete the games fast enough! Off the top of my head ive still got Crackdown, Vegas, Viva Pinatta, Splinter Cell: DA, Fight Night 3, Lost Planet, Battlefield 2: MC, CoD 2+3, Kameo and Hitman to catch up on and all the new releases to keep on top of! Thats more games than i ever bought on 'cube right there!
-
Time to place bets on how much the Legendary Edition will be over here, im taking £79.99 That refresher course disk sounds useful, i never completed Halo 1 in single player an only ever played 2 in multiplayer so ive no idea where the story is at
-
im not a massive fan either but theres usually some good bits. I'll probably just flick back + forth between RND, Xbox and a film (got Superman Returns from LOVEFiLM and not watched it yet)
-
Alright if i add you guys? May aswell get a game going now for those of us who are on I could host but on a 1Mbit connection its probably not ideal
-
If theres a spot left tonight then invite me, finished work early and just got to set up the wireless adapter. Using the username NumbDiagram rather than Phee2 at the moment though so i can get another month of free Live
-
Sounds like a plan. Think i get home from work around 9:30 so will be on at 10, playing under the username NumbDiagram at the moment until i get around to buying a new sub Picking up a wireless adapter tomorrow, getting on live is like a military operation at the moment! First i have to wait until my parents go to bed, then sneak to the computer desk. Then carefully remove the router without making any noise, carry it through to my room, plug it in and play. Hence me being up at 3am, the middle of the night is the only time i can get a game

:awesome: If they're that low then i'll be a happy man. Only got a 64MB X700 + 512MB RAM
-
i'd be up for a Worms night some time, just got to get a Live Sub, MSoft Points + Wireless Adapter sorted out first The trial is pretty awesome
-
He was a good character in the Ultimate Avengers movies, thats pretty much the only experience i have of Cap' Shame he's dead but he'll be back. In a few years someone will time travel back and kill the sniper first
-
Same sort of problem here, was really excited about this game for years and now i dont have a computer that can run it. So much for buying a 360 to fill the void left by PC Gaming, missed out on Medieval 2: Total War and now this
-
How exactly are they going to stop this via update? Theres no way to tell who has a legit copy and who activated by this crack! All Microsoft can do is stop the software vendors from distributing it like this further and then change the activation method for new copies, if you already have this installed, activated and running then you're sorted for life! (unless ive missed something glaringly obvious)
-
Argh, my sub just expired Must have just missed it too, my sig was gold when i was on here earlier The stuff ive got to buy is piling up, now need a new sub + a way to hook the 360 up to the net (cant keep using my laptop as a wireless bridge) + a new copy of Windows all to get this darn box working properly. Thats £160 worth of stuff

Getting this ep now, taking its time a bit though. Can believe theres a 7 week break! With Torrents speed is determined by what you are seeding (more uploads = higher download priority), how many other users you are connected to and how much/which parts of the file those users have. It should be faster than Limewire but you need to give it a few minutes to connect to a good 50 or so other users. You also need a strong Torrent, the strength of a torrent can be calculated by dividing the number of seeders (those with the completed file) by the number of peers (those downloading it). The higher the result the better Could also be possible that you're Firewall is slowing the connection down

My brother puts controllers in his mouth and chews the analogue sticks
-
Yup, the first controller to switch on is always P1, 2nd is P2 and so on. Bit of a pain really, Microsoft need to launch some more colours so i can tell which controller is 'mine' (just use stickers at the moment)
-
B*stard or Sh*t Use them both way too much
-
Going from you're sig im counting 12 games + Live Arcade stuff! Christ! Where do you get the time to play them all? I got 4 games + LA:U with my system 4 weeks ago, bought GoW 2 weeks later and hardly played it! Most of my time is split between Oblivion and Tony Hawks :p
-
Is that extra controller an official wireless pad?
-
Guitar Hero II! Time to rock all over again!

With enough practice you'll be fine. Im in exactly the same boat but ive never found it stops me doing anything; i just have to try harder and practice for longer I know im picking up GH on release day -
Linux is hardly the way forward either. Im using it as my main OS at the moment and it doesnt work with my wireless cards (1 pci + 1 usb) so i have to hook it up to my router via ethernet. The software support is hardly glowing either, taken me a while to find a decent, free Firewall and Virus scanner (in Windows i just used Zone Alarm and AVG). On the plus side though, Beryl 3D desktop looks brilliant and the OS is free and fairly stable (although not quite so good as i found Win XP Pro to be) TBH i think Mac is the way forward as long as you dont mind not playing games on it. The OS is very stable, only has to be compatable with a small amount of hardware and has decent 1st, 2nd and 3rd party software If you value games then go Windows. If you're a cheapskate then go Linux

How did this thread end up with drugs being compared to swords? Only read the first 2 pages... IMHO Swords shouldn't be banned. My reasons: 1. Sword collecting is a legitimate hobby. Also quite an expensive one if you're collecting proper well-made ones. So far there is no evidence to link these collectors items to killings. 2. Sword fighting is a legitimate sport. Should Fencing, Kendo & other sword sports be banned? They're good exercise and they teach skills that are used in every day life (physical + mental control, hand-eye co-ordination etc.) 3. To the best of my knowledge the sword killings that have gone by so far have been done by idiots who, if swords weren't available, would have picked up a different weapon. Swords dont kill people, people kill people. Take the sword out of a murderers hand and he(or she) will pick up a knife. Simply put this is our governments way of delaying the problem (again). They need to look like they're doing something so they ban swords. Why swords? Because guns are already banned and a knife ban would cause them too much trouble. I'm quite worried by this ban, its bringing a question over the future of one of my favorite hobbies (fencing)

How can Alien Hominid not be worth 800 points? Thats £6.50! Will be getting it as soon as i get live running again, got to either fork out for the wireless adapter or buy another router. Yay, another £50 gone...
-
I know plenty of people who havent had any problems, seems to be a bit of a lottery tbh Still, the figures for 360s breaking is below the 3% margin that they need to be by law As for the original question, cant really comment yet cause im not on Live much. Will use it more when i have my 360 hooked up to the wireless
