Found out yesterday that my store didn't make it, which was surprising since it was the newest one in the area. Guess it was costing the company too much to keep open. Second time i've been made redundant now as well *sigh*.

One of the most frustrating things about this is the fact that even as an employee we don't know much about whats going on. I wasn't even aware that we weren't stocking Street Fighter X Tekken and I found out through a senior sales from my store sending me a link to an article on some random website. It seems a lot of the news is being found out this way when surely if jobs are on the line the staff should be some of the first to know? I worked at Woolworths before and this is all starting to feel very familiar. No one wants to explain the situation, it's all "oh everything's fine" but you just know at some point it's going to be like "yeah, we're closing in a month" with no warning.

Have you got the most updated version of Mac Messenger? Version 8 has webcam and mic compatibility, although it only allows video calls. Obviously you can just mute your mic once you're on the call and make it a normal webcam conversation, it's just a bit of a pain to have to do this every time.

The silver one definitely looks better. You can't transfer Ambassador status over consoles as far as i'm aware, although I may be mistaken as i've not heard of anyone trying it.

Didn't do much for halloween, just went round a friends and watched some films. This was my effort at a costume: I'll try harder next year

I'm in work tomorrow so i'll give this whole flirting thing a try. Now is probably the best time too, what with all the main releases out like Battlefield 3, MW3 etc. Also, some of the christmas temps are starting tomorrow so there's always that as well Aneres11- i've had that happen to me too, they seem really keen then suddenly back off, stop replying to texts etc. It's annoying, sometimes they're just too afraid to tell you how they feel or they're just being cowardly and trying to back off the easy way. Just stick to your plan and sleep on it, see how you feel. Try not to over-think about it though, it drives you crazy. Trust me, i'm one of the worst people for over-thinking everything!

As most people have suggested on here, i've tried online dating but I just don't get on with it. I've spoke to a few guys on there and they're very nice but at the end of the day i'd prefer to meet someone in real life, in person. My social life is pretty much non existent now tbh, i'm not really much of a weekend club/bar going person so apart from those places i'm not sure where else I can socialise with others! Plenty of nice guys do come into work actually, but i'm not sure flirting with them whilst serving them games is going to work, but no harm in trying right? :P

I guess I must have been going for the wrong guys in the past then, everything that's been said on here makes sense. It's just frustrating waiting for something to happen or to find someone, there's only so long you can be single before you start to feel like a total loser!

I agree, girls can be just as shallow as guys. And by shallow I do mean in terms of looks, yes.

So I was thinking about something earlier and I thought here might be a good place to ask- are guys really as shallow as they seem? I think this may be why I don't have much luck with relationships, or anything really, as it feels like i'm often judged before anyone gets to know me, which is a little unfair. It's probably just the guys i've known in the past, not stereotyping you all on here! Just a random late night thought I wanted to share to see what you think : )

The ending was good but it certainly wasn't one of the best from this show so far. Not too bothered now about that 9 months (ish) wait for Season 5. THIS. Pam is awesome, definitely one of the best bits. Oh, and Jessica's "costume", she looked amazing in that.

It's a bit complicated though. We tried going out when we were 18 as we both liked each other but it didn't work out and made things pretty awkward for a while, not only between us but with our other friends as well. Now we're both 22, we've changed and grown up and I can't help but feel it would work this time. Even a few of our friends have noticed things lately, saying how we bicker like we're a couple and they wouldn't be surprised if one day we did say we were going out. I guess the only thing I can do is ask.

This is probably quite a common question, but what do you do if you realise you have feelings for a close friend? If you think there could be something there, do you tell them or do you keep quiet in case everything becomes a bit awkward? I've been in this situation once before but I was just wondering what other people thought about it.

A redesign is likely at some point in the future, although I doubt they would remove the 3D entirely. The 3D slider is there for a reason, even if some people fail to notice this. Like everyone else has said, there are great games to look forward to by the end of this year and into next year, Nintendo have nothing to worry about.
