Why does it matter bumping an old post? I have never really got the issue with doing that i think it is a good thing. This post has really made me think of all the quality that the NES had. I am going to start off my LOZ journey from game 1 soon.... Just me, some beers (which I would of never had as a youngster) and some retro gaming. Write a review on each as I go.... Thanks for bringing this up guys I now have a mission for the next year!

For me, legend of zelda ocarina of time. Has to be the bit where you are looking for saria in the lost woods. Immense, running through the woods listening for the music and getting back and seeing how it is. How it has all changed.....

Or pay £20 and get a megadrive off of eBay.... that would be my way of going forward with it anyway!

I picked this up at a carboot as seem to remember playing it as a child and though that it was very good then. Need to play this at some point...

As a massive Zelda fan, the Blue fairy thing was pretty awesome although I wish I had more information, may have to go Google mad. The obtaining the tri-force thing. Looks poor think it would have been silly to include it really!

Ghostbusters on the Megadrive, absolutely quality game, one of the best games I think I have played. I may be a ghostbusters nut but. amazing game!

It is nothing on the loss of life obviously but it is relevant news to the audience so it is acceptable I think. I mean... It is news at the end of the day and we are interested. Well I was anyway.

I love either the Sega Arcade Stick or the NES Arcade Stick... Don't know why but they just looked awesome, the kinda industrial gamer peripheral. If it has to be a standard pad it has to be the N64 pad, it just worked so well!

to be fair, look at it!! They have done pretty well back in the day to do this.. I love these NES pads too. They are awesome!

I have never played this game, I see that it raises a fair price on ebay and that in general is a good barometer of a games quality. After this thread though it seems people are paying for the memories!
