Yep, this happened to every Switch console, me thinks. I lost the ability to get online as well, and they posted an article about it on Kotaku too. Just need to do a hard reset, and you should be back online again. I have no idea why this happened though, maybe they tried to send out an update that went wrong or something?

amFilm is impossible to ship to Norway without paying way too much for it, and no stores in Norway have any other screen protector for the Switch other than the regular film. And I hate bubbles on my new consoles :P. I went for this tempered glass protector with anti finger print-coating from Play-Asia.com. It's gotten one good review, and I hope it does the trick. I'll give you an update when it arrives.

True enough. If you want to wait and see, then it's all up to you. You could also wait until E3 and see if there is a nice lineup coming in the future, and then there'll probably be better availability as well. But if the prices are going to go down with about £30-40 in the holiday season, then there is not really that big of a point to wait. Just my personal opinion.

After a week, I finally taped my kickstand shut. That damn thing kept popping out while I was using it in handheld mode, and it kept exposing my MicroSD card. So now I had enough. Other than that, I think it's a stellar system. But god damn, that kickstand is flimsy.

If not a physical E3-presentation, they at least need to present a lot of new game announcements to keep the momentum going. They need to bring out more guns to the show if the want to keep the Switch selling until, and during, the holiday season. And of course, Mario will be one of the stars of the show.

That is a clever way to go. I should've done the same thing, as my Wii U have been collecting dust after I got a dedicated gaming PC, and the same can be said about my 3DS. If we had game stores who offered trade in-deals, I'd traded them both for the Switch. And thanks for the update . This is very true indeed. Seeing as I have a busy day, and I rarely have time to game, I actually love the portability aspect of the console. I find myself playing less and less on the TV, and it's actually really nice to be playing on the small screen. Yesterday I was stuck in town for 2 hours before I had a meeting with some friends, so I just sat down at a café, whipped out my Switch (:P) and played Zelda for 1.5 hours straight. It's awesome!

Have you reached a conclusion yet @The Peeps? What's your thought after the current discussion? And is portable mode a serious plus for you? If yes, then I don't see why you're not holding a Switch yet :P.

Ouch. One of Norways "biggest" (we dont have any big ones, really :P) gaming sites just put down their verdict for Zelda. I'm glad this site isn't big enough to hit the Metacritic score. Not that reviews matters. But still :P. Translation: Zelda is back, but not as revolutionizing as one would hope.

If you have the money and there's no problem for you to spend them today, and if you're planning to get the console at a later time this year (for any of the other games coming out) then I'd say yeah. No problem in getting one now, as the system won't get an update or a price drop any time soon. Only thing that can be getting a new version is the left joy-con, but that is just a controller. I am having a blast these days playing Zelda on the bus every day on my daily commute. But if you're short on the money, don't spend that much on the console when you can settle with the game for Wii U now and get the Switch at a later time when you've saved up.

Just tried hooking my Switch up to the internet through my phone as a hotspot. Worked without a hitch. Going to be using that when I'm commuting after online comes.

Can I link that new Japanese Nintendo Account to my Nintendo Network ID? That is the same ID that is linked to my European account.

Quick impressions: I really like the system, and its sturdiness. It realy screams quality! And despite all odds (and my big hands) the joy con are a joy (heh) to use. The UI is nice and quick, and it actually "fits" in my jacket's inner pocket. Just played on the loo for the first time, ever. What a time to be alive!

This is great news! In other great news, I just got confirmation that my Switch is ready for pick up tomorrow at 10AM, and at a 20% discount! Tomorrow is shaping up to be a really, really good day. Time to swap friend codes...

Yeah, that was incredible. Made me much more enthusiastic about the Switch after Zelda, and made me interested in a lot of new games. Flipping Death looked amazing, Shakedown Hawaii looked rad, Mr. Shifty, that looked awesome! It's gonna be some nice handheld months!

I was first to order at my local store (which is next door to my house) and I took friday off from work so that I could spend the day in Hyrule, but they're now saying they won't be getting the Switch until the 4th. So I'm on the lookout for a new one at a store I know will have it on launch day. Better yet, I've gotten a 20% off-deal if I buy it at that store, so in total I'll save around £100 . I'm going to call them when they open and see if there is any Neon available, but the Switch and Nintendo isn't that popular in Norway so it should be easy enough (I hope). So for launch day I'll end up with the following Switch Neon The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Cant wait! ) Carrying case PRO controller, if I bother. Might wait and see if I think the Joy cons are horrible :P.

The store I've pre-ordered from have their "estimated" delivery date for the Switch consoles set to the 8th of march, but the store clerk assured me that it would be there on time when I pre-ordered the console. I was the 2nd person to pre-order, and I have friday off work just to play Switch, so they better deliver. I went there last week to see if there was any updates, but it looked like they still couldnt guarantee with a 100% safety that the console would be there on the 3rd. Jesus, if it isn't, I'll flip. I've just pre-ordered a Neon Switch and Zelda, but I guess I'll pick up an official carrying case as well.

Saw this on Gaf yesterday. Holy hell, that thing is blazingly fast! Its gonna be a big draw for me on using it as a handheld. Best feature about the DS and the 3DS line, was that you just opened them and kept on playing. This is a similar feature.

We dont know, and that is only a theory from Gaf (at least that is where I first read it). I really hope its not a hardware problem. If it is, its gonna hit Nintendo hard.

I've taken friday off. Going to say goodbye to the missus when she leaves for work at seven, and then I'm gonna have a good breakfast and clear some space for the Switch, and then I'm heading over to the store next door when it opens at 9AM. After that, it'll be all drooling over the new toy, as well as going full Zelda mode the rest of the day/weekend.
