CIDER. Scrumpy jack and K cider are drinks of choice. Blackthorn can be nice, but if it gets warm then cold again it don't taste too good. Olde English lost respect when they lowered their alcohol percentage (and charged the same amount...), and woodpecker is just... not worth thinking about. Diamond White Cider isn't really cider, but it's 7.5% and reminds me of co-op xbox gaming. White Lightning is the Fool's Gold of the cider world; it's not too shabby, but far too expensive for what you get. Check out polaris or White strike if you're into that shit. I love bloody Marys, and I ought to do some home-made cocktails at some point. My Chili Vodka has claimed only three more victims since returning to brighton, and I want to make some more with sweeter chilis.

Ok, ok. Apologies for the time it's taken me; getting back to brighton and sleeping in four different places in under a week, and no reliable net yet means this has taken much longer than it should've. So here's the thing. Clink Hostel. A 6-bed dorm for two nights is a total of £300 between the six of us - £50 EACH. So me, wildo, mcphee, stefkov, bardy and chuck, is it? I have BOOKED IT with our arrival/check-in time down as a fairly healthy 4pm. Please bring passport/driver's licence as the hostel may want it for some sort of reason. Please, please, please re-confirm yourselves here. PM me for my mobile number, and let's take the next few days to sort out the finer points of meeting and sleeping with randomers from teh internet. My internet is still shoddy, so someone pester Ashley/Shorty to keep me posted with the progress. begin teh OMGGs! Oh, and everyone staying here should keep a note of the following. I do think we (the awesome six) should try to meet at King's Cross at 3-ish, and try and not-get-lost together

Haden; I'm sure I've been to the exact same square and saw the same chocolate shop and nuns. I was also on my way to Holland. Were you the guy who hit my mate?

Too much to hate... You watch Richard and Judy too?! *waves hand in the air*

Urg. Stellastarr* - My Coco = first crush. Anything remotely opera-gothic = second/first kiss, then pretty much all the music I ever heard during the two years I was with her = my ex. That last lot was a killer and ruined a lot of awesome music for me. Great thread. Got a train journey later, will make a note of any associations I have.

yup. This summer I'll be working from 9 'til 5 every weekday... EDIT: Does that mean I already have a strike?

*agrees with villan*.. plus clearly there's some guy on the other side of the road snapping you up.

Hey Tom; I'm sure the move will be fine Meeting new people and living with them is an exciting experience. Just remember they'll be as anxious as you, and use it to your advantage. My day; spent a couple of hours just ANNOYED at a friend for not being able to comprehend a simple card game. Wanted to hit her with a wine bottle numerous times. Besides that I've had a nice last-night here, and am ready for the nervous morning to come where I realise I've not packed half the stuff I need. Stupidly washed my clothes today so they'll all be damp tomorrow. But hey! Shall be in brighton this time tomorrow, what's so bad about that?

happy birthday nightwolf... erm, yeah. 18 and stuff. Good?

I've played about 50 games via facebook, and have an acceptable record. I know I've imporved vastly thanks to the application, but I also know I have a lot of room to get a lot better. Grunchie; 500 books at home? But can you claim to have purchased all 500 of them? :P my dad has over a thousand books but I do not count them in my conclusion. SO NER!
-
well if they are serious about going, then they can STILL PM me and I can try to organise other things... but if they fail to do so by friday then yes, they will have to arrange their own accomodation -- which shouldn't be too tricky considering the first post in this thread has ample amounts of info.
-
I just thought I'd say bullshit on that, esequiel. You opened the 'night' for less than 12 hours, and you got more than 50% of people PMing, so that's a rubbish explanation.
-
nope, I agree
-
Woot! I will have to arrange some sort of regular get-together for sundays. Could be good.
-
oh yeah? well I jsut found three more in the bathroom... got loooads at home. I WILL make a count when I get Home-home (saturday) and pester this thread with the final count. I may even demand pictures.

I was told I was 'born this way'...

An avid reader nightwolf? I've just counted 103 books in my room here at uni. Not counted the lounge, nor my shelves at home - considering I've got the first 30 pratchett books... Game on!
-
Oh! I collect a few things - salsa pot lids (kinda slowed down with that one, got about 10 different ones), joker cards (got about 30 mostly different ones)... Sorta gathering clipper lighters (black, red, yellow - friend stole/lost my purple)... and not an avid fan but I do like the occasional kinder egg. My, that's sad.

I don't think I have a hobby... Er, I like to get drunk, get high, smoke, watch 24 hours straight of DVDs while eating beans from a tin. It's probably the nearest to 'hobby' I have. Chris Teh Greeat: 'modern' is anytime in the last 500 years. 'Contemporary' would be a better term if you mean the current times. Thanks to my course I've not really read anything contemporary for two years, that I can remember... Mind you I've not really read anything in all that time. Marsh: I think he might be being slightly ironic. Anyway...

I went for milk bottles. Cola bottles dissapointed me as a child because despite trying for 30 minutes, the cola would not adhere to gravity. Realistically speaking, those little pink/white mice and the fried eggs are teh best pic n' mix sweets of all time. *waves goodbye to the term 'penny sweet'*

I just got up and I need to PACK MY LIFE INTO TINY BAGS. Well actually it's more LEAVE MY LIFE BEHIND, carrying only the SHELL of my existence with me. Last two nights I've been too lazy to put sheets on my duvet, so I've been sleeping ON my duvet, under my dressing gown. Both mornings I've awoken to find both of my legs are right in an arm-hold. Tis odd. Now to ram my portable dvd player, toothbrush, clothes, diary, chili vodka, grinder, laptop and maybe Buddha into a large piece of cloth, then find a stick to tie it to and I'm DONE.
