Nice trailer, some of those skins were pretty cool but they totally missed an opportunity there... Stealth Bomber + Samus Aran amiibo = Samus' Gunship skin Come on, you know it makes sense! : peace: If not now, then later with dlc. Also they blatantly should have had an Arwing in there, this game was blatantly made for it. :p

Wii U Basic Pack. ShopTo £149.86 http://www.shopto.net/wii-u/hardware-bundles/hardware/store Rakuten (Play) £135 (with code) JANSALEDAY3&4 http://www.rakuten.co.uk/shop/shopto/product/WIIUHW01/?l-id=uk_top_mr_prd_img The deal on Play is also via ShopTo as a seller on their site, probably the only time that Play will be 'cheaper' in this instance.

Obligatory bump! I feel the need to mention that Shin Megami Tensei IV is still 35% off this week until 29/01/15 making it only £11.69 which is a steal for such a fine game. : peace: Personally I plan to go back to it at some point, I spent a good while playing it through for the review but I was by no means close to the end as it requires a fair investment in the amount of time put in but it's very rewarding when it all clicks. An experience which I can't recommend enough.

Yes... the 3D...S wasn't it? I hear there's a 'new' one coming out soon, with interchangeable covers! Though I wonder if it still plays those really old 'DS' games? (pssssst! I think we're back on topic now...) : peace:

They are only 'spare' Wii Remotes, both white as well, most of the time I use my Gold Zelda: Skyward Sword Wii remote, because it's awesome. : peace:

I'm still rocking the NES controller sticker to this very day... :awesome: ...and the Metroid: Other M one as well, or what's left of it after having to 'trim' the edge.

After playing through the Resident Evil HD re-release without dying I should hope not! : peace: I've been toying with getting that, is it worth £15.99 or should I just wait for a price reduction? I know it probably seems like a silly question, but I have no problem with playing through it on the GC... but... HD-ness and trophies, so tempting.

Haha! True... I'm guilty on all those counts, I used the faceplates for a little while, then I got a Metroid Prime faceplate - official Nintendo one - and never looked back. I had the N64 Perfect Dark console skin, had that on the machine for yeaaaaars plus a Zelda one, I carefully peeled it off and stuck it back on the sheet even though it had extensive wear to it. Though the Twilight Princess Wii front sticker I quite liked, thought it actually brightens up the console, I've had to tuck my Wii away though to make room for my Retron 5 so I don't have to look at the console or the sticker any more now, even though it wasn't bad. : peace:

I'm assuming we'll be hearing about it soon, probably in the next Nintendo Direct. Either way it'll be before or around the same time Mewtwo gets released I'd imagine.

I have a sealed copy that I'd let go for £30 including postage if you're interested? Could post first thing tomorrow, first class and you'd likely have it before Friday. PM if interested. : peace:

Well that didn't take long to vanish from the site. Will be keeping a close eye on the site in case anything else goes up, not that I'll be able to buy much though, might just about be able to conjure up another 2000 points or so. I must say though I'll be happy with my Game & Watch and A Link Between Worlds soundtrack, when they arrive. : peace: Though I just know Nintendo will put up some of those Skull Kid statues for sure after Majora's Mask comes out.

Alternatively a third-party could offer clear faceplates which open to reveal enough room to place a paper or card insert inside with your own design of choice, much like those ones given away with Cube Magazine which allowed you have your own custom Gamecube faceplate.

It's best to get a powered hard drive if possible, I meant in terms of getting a 4 port USB hub as well - one that doesn't require power - so that you'd have a spare port or two left over. My current setup has a powered hard drive plugged into one USB port at the back, while the other port is taken up by the 4-port USB hub - non-powered - which has both of the GC adapter leads in it plus a pro-controller charging cable leaving me with one port free on the hub plus two on the front of the console should I ever need them. : peace: As for power strips I have about eight or nine at last count... though at least three are more or less just extensions for the other side of the room, it's OK as long as you spread the load out and you don't try to turn everything on at once simultaneously. It probably sounds dodgy but I've learned to live carefully with my many power strips over the years, they might not look elegant but they are definitely all functional and are a must if you have multiple consoles you like to use regularly. : peace:

It's a good job Link's not lactose intolerant as he'll be drinking it at the start of every three day cycle, rupees permitting of course. I suppose it's just as well that they moved the Clock Town bank as well, actually the more I think about it the more the changes seem to make sense. Just that my initial reaction was... 'they did what?!?' but I've had time to process it all now, still looking forward to it very much. : peace:

USB hub, it's worth getting one. : peace:

It's just initially irksome as I have really fond memories of the N64 version, it'll be fine once I play it again I'm sure though I will miss the original animation of just as you start swimming Zora Link springs into action... which was usually abruptly ended by him hitting a wall but still, I just thought it hard more charm is all. I'm sure this version will have a charm all of it own though so it's all fine. : peace:
-
Out of all the changes, I find this one the most irritating... I had a feeling this might happen when I saw a video of Goron Link rolling through Termina Field and I thought to myself 'oh they seem to have improved the controls, maybe they'll make the swimming as Zora Link even better...' How wrong could I be? I'm sure it's not game-breaking but still, give us an extra mode with no changes to the physics, one enemy hit takes a heart and a half and call it Majora's Master mode or something. Also the bosses, they've changed... I wonder if we're getting a boss rush mode at least? I'm still hyped for it even thought I'm still a bit irked that they chose to release it the same day as MH4U but at least I have the week off.

I'm sorry to hear that bryanee. I hope the operation goes well and that your step dad makes a recovery.

Got it! : peace: Regarding things going wrong with Club Nintendo in the early days, I searched my e-mails and it seems that I had problems with codes from new games being already redeemed before, and there was that sealed copy of Kirby & the Amazing Mirror which never got delivered to me, I have e-mails with the link still in them, I had obviously tried to get it sent to me again at the time but I don't think I was ever reimbursed for it. I'm now wondering if I should get in contact with them about it... obviously after I've received my current orders but still, might be worth a shot... I can't imagine they would have kept that sealed copy of Kirby all this time, they probably sold it to someone else but still... must have been at least 3000 stars at the time.
-
I should just get it shouldn't I?
-
I've just redeemed the remainder of my stars across my Wii U games up to 3000 stars, now I've calculated that I have 8 codes left I could redeem which would either be 2000 on their own if I got the CD or 5000 if I waited... I do want that soundtrack but as Yesteryear just pointed out, what if they do a Majora's Mask soundtrack? Or if they put up another high-price item like the Game & Watch for 7500? Also I went to redeem my Super Mario 3D World pin and it said it had already been redeemed?!? Literally only just scraped off the silver, double-checked it and everything, doesn't seem to be any point contacting Nintendo about it being that they won't do anything. Arrrrrrgh! #firstworldproblems

Where did you order those from Goafer? I already have a shelf for my Panzer Dragoon collection but having some stands could be very useful indeed for displaying games from time to time. : peace:

Twilight Princess, HD remaster, full 1080p, option to play with either Wii controls, classic controller or Gamecube Controller via the adapter, £24.99 pirce-tag or limited edition with Link on Epona or Wolf Link with Midna for £39.99 plus a soundtrack CD for the first batch. That'll do! : peace:
-
I actually already booked the week off agggggges ago in advance not even knowing that anything was going to be released within that time-frame let alone not one but two awesome games! So I'll definitely be up for some hunts. : peace: It'll also give me an excuse to turn on my PS4... :p

None of this bothers me as I'll be using the Japanese voice-overs, just as I did with Xenoblade Chronicles for the fifty-odd hours that I played it.
