  1. They're not worth it, dude. The ones at Euston are a lot better. Worth queuing for.
  2. Having that Villa game between the Derby might help you lot get your act together. If it were this week, I could see a Spurs victory rounding off a terrible week for Arsenal, as it would put a bigger gap between you and Spurs. It would be typical if Arsenal did come out and get something out of that derby, but it would be also typical if they crumbled. My heart and head says 2-2 draw. You'll beat Villa on Saturday 3-0, with some good performances from the strikers. Defensively, you'll look a lot better than tonight.
  3. I had a Dreamcast, too...couldn't get into it, either. It never clicked for me. By the time I had a Dreamcast, I had already purchased a Cube and was enjoying that. It's a decent system but it gets hyped up a lot by SEGA fans. I prefered the Mega Drive in all honesty. Even the movie-tie-ins at that time were good.
  4. Yeah, the away goal rule is harsh. But, it also means that you get teams playing attacking football or at least trying to get goals away from home. Otherwise, the amount of defensive or negative football would be even worse. It's a necessary evil. I've hated it for a long time, but I appreciate it because it is needed.
  5. I never thought I'd spend part of my evening convincing a German that a German team played well against an English team, in England. :p Yes, Arsenal were poor. But, Bayern exploited that and walked over them in the first half. Yes, they didn't play as attacking after that, but they didn't need to because they were 2-0 up away from home. Those away goals are precious in games like this. Arsenal got a goal back, which came from poor defending (and a corner that never was) but aside from that, Bayern were in control of the match. They should go through quite easily now.
  6. I believe that children are our futuuuuure. Play de yoofs, mon. Play dem.
  7. Yeah, I enjoyed it. Good game, brroooooo. If Benny were fit, he would have played and I would have gone with a more attacking and offensive approach. Ernesto has been superb for us this season, though. If he goes up a skill level again at the end of the season, fuck...
  8. I'm pretty sure every Arsenal fan will disagree with you tonight. You don't play average football and win 3-1 away in the Champions League. Even if certain players don't play as well as they can, collectively Bayern play good and effective football. They're walking the German League.
  9. What is even funnier is that Ubisoft have used two different art-styles in Origins and Legends, both of which looks gorgeous, whilst Nintendo have stuck to the same for Mario...they really should take a look at what Ubisoft are doing and take note. Exactly, Ubisoft have just done things better, when really Nintendo should be leading the way. I tried some two player Mario earlier and it is actually quite boring being the pad's player.
  10. They defended because Arsenal were having a good spell. If they had gone up and attacked, Arsenal could have gained momentum on the counter and grabbed a second. Good tactics from Bayern. Plus, the third goal did come anyway. So, they soaked up the Arsenal pressure and then got a third goal to finish off the game. They're 15 points clear in the league and are doing well in the Champions League. Plus, the football that they play is efficient and good to watch. Maybe they are arrogant, we don't really see much about that in England, but they've got the stats to back it up. They're a very good football team.
  11. It really does. Ubisoft have managed to out-do Nintendo with both Rayman and ZombiU in terms of creativty and making good use of the WiiU's controller. From what I've seen, the controller doesn't actually add anything substantial to NSMB.
  12. That's a bit harsh. 3-1 away to another team at this stage in the Champions League is a very, very good result. Even if Bayern didn't play that well (they played pretty well, I thought) they got a result and that's a sign of quality. You and I both know that contracts mean so very little these days. All it takes is a club like City, Real Madrid or Barcelona to throw a ridiculous offer and players go. This can happen to almost everyone out there. Wilshere is the one that I could imagine gathering loads of interest. After that, some interest in Walcott and Cazorla.
  13. Unless Arsenal can somehow stop Bayern from scoring, they're going to need to go to Germany and score 4 or 5 goals. Can't see them doing that, unless something magical happens before then. They're also going to get a lot of pressure from other clubs who will want to buy their remaining good players. Unless they start investing heavily into the squad again.
  14. It could be a lot of things, maybe you're biceps were still a bit sore from training and when you played it aggravated it. I got told you needed to mainly use the wrists with squash, rather than the whole arm. You generate a lot of power from those wrists, much more than you think. It's a different mentality at first, but you soon get adjusted.
  15. I was going to do some stuff yesterday and today but I've not had time and I'm still coughing and spluttering a fair bit. Leaving it til tomorrow and going for it then. Where exactly was it hurting? It's mostly wrist action, so sometimes my right wrist can ache. Aside from that, I've always been fine with it.
  16. D'oh, I'm getting confused. I dropped Ine off somewhere, meaning that I've missed half of the first half. So, to catch up, I'm watching the game on ITV+1 and have the feed from ITV1 on my laptop. When Arsenal scored, it was still 1-0 to Bayern. Football: Serious business.
  17. Is that where you bring the bar up on the deadlift? Take the paaaain. Ine and I have bought 2 squash rackets/racquets and I've bought a new set of indoor trainers. Looking forward to playing.
  18. Arsenal are very fortunate to get that goal. Never a corner. But, it makes the game even more exciting.
  19. Wtf are deadlifting socks? As for my protein, I get it from MyProtein and it's of the True Whey variety. I've tried quite a few from there, it's a good place to get your protein from.
  20. I managed to play a demo of this in GAME, which was also my first experience with the Gamepad. First of all, fuck, this game is beautiful. It's just lovely to look at. Also, Ubisoft have really used the gamepad imaginatively and have created what looks like a fun experience, whether that's only one person or two, or three. Would have gladly spent the rest of my afternoon playing this, had the demo not had a time limit attached to it. It's a bit of a shame that Ubisoft are sitting on this. You've got a great game, it's such a shame that it's not out there right now being played.
  21. I know you're just trying to be funny, so this next part isn't really aimed at you, but: I really wish people would stop comparing Nintendo's "situation" to that of SEGA's demise. Talk about hyperbole. Nothing similar at all. SEGA fucked up monumentally in various ways, such as flopping hard with the Game Gear, MEGA CD, 32X and not really capturing enough market share with the Saturn or Dreamcast, losing a lot of ground to newcomers Sony. Some of SEGA's tactics were extreme, including the history of the Saturn's launch. Announcing it would be on sale immediately when they were taking to the floor at E3...too much of a surprise tactic, no great long-term planning. You compare this with Nintendo's situation where they raked in the money with both the DS and Wii and regained a ton of market share. Sure, the last 3 months or so for the WiiU haven't been great and the 3DS started off slowly, but both will turn a considerable profit in the end for Nintendo.
  22. I don't think it's your fault. It's these foreign owners that have come in and have made your position untenable, with the mountain of debt that they've brought in with them. Those "Rowan OUT" banners that were in the stadium were just uncalled for.
  23. I feel that us men must be missing a crucial component in this whole going to the toilet business. Women seem to make it into an event in itself. Also, groups of women. Groups?! A toilet party. What is this? Yes, it makes me sound like I'm some sort of women's toilet pervert. I don't go to St. Pancras often...I don't just go there to lurk around the toilets and admire the queues. That's weird. He...he.
  24. I genuinely panicked at that bit. "Wtf...I can't see shit. What should I doooooo?" There were still one or two enemies showing up on radar and I just couldn't see them. Brilliant moment. Although, fucking Natalya, "Bond, help me, bla blah." Work faster, woman. The part on the actual Cradle was hilarious, where the Sun burns the platforms. Enjoyed that a lot.
  25. The sequel should feature an Open Plan London, where you get to visit anywhere you want. We can visit all of our favourite N-E Meet places. Dat Pub.
