What platform are people buying this for? I probably won't get it to be honest, but interested to see how well it does and for each platform.

Yeah, came back yesterday, still can't believe someone handed it in at the airport... Took AGES to charge up enough to even turn on so there was a little panic, but all good and a couple of hours os splatoon - perfect! Yeah, been reading up on it, definitely going to pick it up. Wish it wasn't 12.99, feels a little steep, but whats a few quid!

Need that now and summer is perfect I'm going to buy that ironist game, love match three games if done right, and loved puzzle quest so this seems to be more in that vein. Perfect.

That's an amazing 3DS, and I don't have a NEW XL (wanted those face plates...) If Nintendo allowed your account to be on multiple devices I wouldn't even think about buying this!! Nintendo are mental in this regard!

Yeah, it is ridiculous. The fact there still ins't a proper account system like the others is baffling too. The switch, however much I think is utterly incredible, is bizarrely gimped. No additional services, where's this video recording, themes, cloud saves, ability do have more switches and download games to, virtual bloody console etc? I wonder if the success means they're not rushing it, they don't need to, and almost want to use the extra features as sales weapons.

Great news, that's a lot of extra characters. This, Mario kart and Splatoon really is a great combo of multilayer games! And party mode is one of the best ideas for online gaming I've ever seen. Every game should do this!!

So jealous reading about this. I’d also be well up for a 4 player team next splatfest weirdly the forum, remembered a post I thought I posted in here, but didn’t, but here it is anyway still applies: “The criteria for unlocking stuff is just ridiculous. Level 10 is too much to unlock 60% of the game modes; then getting b- for each of the ranked to play those modes with friends is painful... why be so extreme?!?! Otherwise. The game is incredible, utterly incredible.”

Just got back from my holiday and my switch didn't make it back with me... Think, hope, I left it on the plane, only chance I have of it getting it back. Was fucking gagging to play Splatoon 2 tonight as well... I'm presuming it won't be difficult for me to redownload all my games again? just no game data - damn you Nintendo and no cloud saves.... Also damn them for the console being sold out everywhere still if I need to buy a new one...

I’m pretty sure breath of the wild is the best game I’ve ever played and up there with Mario 64 and metroid prime in being regularly stunned at the game design - I usually don’t think about this kind of stuff. Saying that. 5 years is a bit much. Why not focus on one amazing game engine, then make sequels using that engine, worked with manorss mask. Feels so obvious.

Been on holiday and getting shivers from wihdrawal.... gutted to be missing splatfest too. Absolutely loving the game, and although at first I was definitely in the disappointed 1.5 camp, now I’m playing it I’ve come to realise I don’t care, the game is simply too good and unlike anything else In the medium.
