To be honest, Barcelona were the better side over the 2 legs, but I suppose if you can't create an end product..

I just got back from Asda. No GTA for me. Turned up at 11:15 to find at least 150 people there, the guy said they wouldn't have any more left. Going into town tomorrow morning to try and hunt for a copy. The hit list; Tesco Metro WH Smiths Woolies Argos HMV Game/Gamestation

Anyone been following whats going on with Bournemouth? It's pretty amazing, in January they were bottom of League One, 17 points from safety, plus they've had a 10 point deduction for going into Administration. Since then they've had a bunch of good results, including a 1-2 victory away at league champions Swansea, and 2-0 against 3rd placed Nottingham Forest. They are now 1 point from safety, if they win their last game, they need Cheltenham to draw or lose, or Crewe to lose and they'll stay up, and if they draw and Cheltenham lose they'll stay up on goal difference. Cheltenham have a much harder game, and in the last 8 games Bournemouth have won 7, the best out of the entire league. If they stay up, it really will be amazing.

Most of Ronaldo's free kicks get blasted over the bar or straight into the wall. Hargreaves is clearly much better..

To be honest, I don't think United would have got that penalty had it not been at Old Trafford. The ball was carrying hamlessly through to Lehmann, and really it looked like Gallas was trying to put his arms behind him back so it wouldn't hit them. A harsh decision really.

Picked up the game in Asda at midnight, and I'm really impressed. I've only done multiplayer races so far, there is a new battle system with 'deathmatch-style' rules. Really impressed with the online, I was playing 2 player on worldwide against people from Japan, Brazil, Australia and America and there was no lag at all. The voting system is great, and it moves along at a good pace too (Nowhere near as time consuming as Strikers!) edit1: I love the new tracks I've seen so far too, all memorable and fun. I'm a little baffled they put skyscraper as the N64 retro battle arena, thats the worst out of the 4 IMO. I mean, block fort! come on!

I love No More Heroes, my favorite Wii game so far, I disagree it's a GTA clone though.. Yes there is the city element, but its far from the main point of the game.

Ahahaha! If you had any credibility, you'd have just lost it.

Q: How do you know if you're a mid table club? A: You play your full strength team in the Carling Cup.

I think you answered yourself.

However clumsy it was, it was less clumsy than the one last week, and on Saturday. I think the moral of the story is, if you go the the Emirites, make it intimidating for the referee so they give stupid penalties.
-
What an absolutely ridiculous penalty. Last week's and saturday's appeals weren't penalties, then that 'foul' was never in a million years. Maybe Arsenal need to learn to commit more subtle drag downs, Toure didn't even have hold of him. Maybe if the crowd weren't refereeing the game in true Old Trafford style.. edit1: Amen.

Fex, a lot of your photos have a green tint. I checked the 'green' histogram for it and I think for some of them you need to change your middle green value slightly. Don't get me wrong though, they are great images!

1. Timesplitters 2 I spent so many hours on this game, the single player is phoenominal, working through on hard trying to do everything perfectly was so much fun. As well as that there is the map editor and multiplayer modes and challenges that will keep you going for months. It was also one of the first games to track all your statistics, which was oddly fascinating. 2. Resident Evil 4 By far the best resident evil game, and a hell of a lot of fun. So many different modes to keep you playing even after you finish. 3. Eternal Darkness From very early in the Gamecube's life, this game had so many fresh gameplay elements and a enthralling storyline. 4. Smash Bros. Melee 5. Fifa 2003 (I know many will disagree, but I spent so many hours playing this multiplayer. 2003 is one of the best fifas around.) 6. Animal Crossing 7. Super Monkey Ball 8. Zelda: Wind Waker 9. Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes 10. XIII (HOW IS NOBODY PUTTING THIS GAME?!)

Anyone been listening to the 6 Music podcast? I listened to their older podcasts and absolutely loved them, and these ones seem to be just as good! The jingles are my favorite bit! Anyone else listen? Also, if anyone has the first 5 episodes (which I missed) then I would appreciate it if you could get them to me, because they only have the very latest episode in the feed.

I don't think it was intentional, stupid yes, intentional no. To be honest though you do see that kind of tackle every so often, and nothing would of happened had Eduardo's studs not been dug in.

Is it just me or do Newcastle always get hammered by United at St James' Park?
