  1. Riiiight. I ask again... Are you pretending to be totally thick and clueless (and/or lying) when it comes to this game, on purpose? Not to mention never having played this game before now and getting names of places and items wrong all the time?
  2. I'm torn between wanting to see jaw-dropping cell-shaded Wind Waker visuals in HD, full of life and magic, and boring but stunning realistic style of the tech demo and TP. That's not Zelda at all though. It goes against the whole concept.
  3. Can I ask a serious question, I don't mean to be harsh but... are you pretending to be totally thick and clueless when it comes to this game, on purpose? Not to mention never having played this game before now and getting names of places and items wrong all the time? It just seems odd, that's all. The game really isn't that hard to figure out surely?
  4. I received the pre-order box from GAME in the post today. The shiny reflective gold cover is far far nicer than the regular artwork. Plus it's traditional Zelda cover art, all gold, as it should be. The rupee design is quite cool and the poster is heavily folded as discussed previously. But who really sticks Zelda posters on their bedroom wall anyway? And this coming from a massive fan.
  5. Really shows how piss easy the recent Zelda games from Wind Waker onwards have become, virtually holding your hand the whole way
  6. Amazing game, wonderful visuals, not lost any of its charm. There's some seriously dodgy 3D in the Chamber of Sages though.
  7. Unless I'm missing something that's just someone on a message board saying it was supposed to have 7 days/dungeons? Thanks for digging out those links though
  8. Yeah I've always thought Shadow then Spirit. The latter is extremely long and challenging, and takes forever to get into.
  9. Games like Zelda really do need this design analog stick: Or at least, the grooves underneath it
  10. Put me down as another who keeps switching between 2D and 3D. Visually and frame rate wise, 2D wins hands down but the 3D effect is cool every so often
  11. Saw it last night, what a mess. I liked how Hal defeated Paralax though, but otherwise.. edit: also, did they have to have the politician dad of Hector look like a porcelain doll? wtf was up with that.
  12. I'm seeing a very faint ghost image of Link to his left and right when 3D is on. I'm looking at the screen in the perfect position but there's still this odd ghosting. Anyone else?
  13. Are you sure about that? First I've heard of it. Anyway, a remake of MM with updated graphics alone would be amazing. IMO even more exciting than OOT 3D
  14. The way the circle pads don't have octogon like grooves like the console controllers is a big problem if you want to run in a straight line. I turn 3D off for everything but the cutscenes, plays a lot better IMO
  15. Multiplayer Zelda doesn't interest me in the slightest, but the concerts and audio CDs are pretty cool I suppose, but I would have loved something a bit more substantial. Imagine an 'Art of the Legend of Zelda' book they could have put together and published. It could have been filled with sketches, concept drawings, illustrations, renders etc from the last 25 years, plus plenty of insight into the art styles of each Zelda game. How amazing would that have been? Obviously it would have been a decent amount of work to put together so probably too much hassle for Nintendo but I'd have gladly paid money (and lots of it) for something like that.
  16. Meh, smacks of trying too hard to me. Why go see a big new release in the afternoon, in a half empty cinema with zero buzz? Evening shows are great, they're the most popular anyway.
  17. I don't get all this bragging about who gets a copy first, I mean even with a regular brand new game it's a little bit pointless, but a remake we've all played already? Meh
  18. Am I the only one who doesn't think that sounds great? Also seems to be missing a fair bit from the original.
  19. Anyone remember the: Starfox In Nintendo 64 bit with the lens flare across the screen and the eerie and dramatic music? My fanboy heart is pleased it's making a return, just with 3DS at the end Actually I say that but it's only in the trailer for now, hopefully in the finished game as well.
  20. Yeah that's definitely up there. I also like the last two console Rainbow Road tracks.
  21. SNES for me, classic Mario Kart music. Best game too IMO. Downhill with each passing game.
  22. So what's the topic of conversation of this thread then, how much we're looking forward to it? Can't see it lasting too long until later in the year when release gets closer
