I told someone they could fuck right off because of their unwarranted attack on me the day before, which I referenced in the same sentence. I had clearly misunderstood Rummy's original post, where I thought this was the thread to get everything out of our system. I was wrong and then wasn't abusive since. I suspect if I had posted what Rummy just did and called someone a prat, I'd get a thread ban and/or a warning.

Not that I disagree with the above, because I don't, but didn't you just recently have a massive go at me for being abusive and saying that we should be civil in here? I'm sorry to say it but it again seems to come down to your one rule for some people, another for everyone else.

I wish they would just use young Link for Zelda U, so much better than Adult Link who just looks awkward. Trouble is I don't think that's a popular opinion.

Ok now that you've stipulated in the Pokemon niche, I can believe it. The point I think a lot of us are trying to say is... we get it, we get you run a popular site. Well done you. I'm sure people who care about Pokemon love it. We get that you have a reason to be arrogant, the point is... that doesn't mean you have to be arrogant. You could try being humble, and not mentioning how you're the foremost expert, how you are the Pokemon Professor, how we should bow to your knowledge of the games. You honestly couldn't sound like more of a bell if you tried when you start spouting that kind of thing, which is a shame because I think you add a huge amount to these boards and your positivity is something to be proud of. A bit of humility is infinitely more personable a trait than rubbing your sites popularity in our faces at every opportunity. IMO.

More like the last 6-7 months, and no one is saying it's been acceptable. The criticism and complaints about the stock shortages has been endless and justified. All I was saying was those proclaiming they would never get to own the ones they wanted seem a little silly now.

So all the hysterics about how people would never get the figures they wanted and how Nintendo would never restock them proved to be... all for nothing??

Great Reggie says there are games coming, so new 3DS owners are getting something extra.

Then you would get complaints from old 3DS owners questioning why they can't play those games on their system. eShop titles wouldn't be Xenoblade-like in scale, so could easily run on older hardware. Nintendo choosing not to allow that would be a huge PR disaster.

Speaking of lies, where to begin... Load times are thanks to reading from the game disk, not the hardware. Voice chat has nothing to do with hardware, the suggested potential issues would be to do with people's internet connection. The Wii U is already capable of having one driver on the gamepad, the other on the tv. They just chose to go split screen. Probably to make it fair for both players, rather than having only one person be able to look at both screens.

I'm not saying that at all. For this gen, the Wii U specs are fine. Would I like to see them get better over time, of course! But it's not a big deal of NX runs on Wii U insides. IMO.

Personally I love my new 3DS, much better than the old XL

They're excellent value for money, especially with the improved quality of the figures themselves.

What I was trying to say is there comes a point where increased power doesn't add anything to a game. Their first HD console. And you think they would have been able to compete with PS4/XBO straight away?

Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, Wii Sports Club and Pikmin 3. Then add Star Fox, Hyrule Warriors, Xenoblade, Wonderful 101, Zelda, Lego City, Bayonetta, NintendoLand, Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong, Splatoon, Captain Toad, Monster Hunter, Zombie U, NES Remix, Need for Speed, Mario Maker and Animal Crossing. Each of those a totally different genre from the other.

The Wii U specs are good enough. Mario Kart 8 wouldn't be a better game with anything better for instance.

The difference will come when they announce it. Games built around a traditional controller and the rumoured connection with a new handheld would be a couple of potential differences. Facepalm. Why don't you wait and see what the new NX consoles have in store before tearing them apart as usual? We don't know anything about them, just a rumour about price point and technical specs.

That's obviously the main reason, he just can't come out and say it.

I'm sure there'll be an appeal, we just don't know it yet.
