  1. That would be very cool. It seems like quite a lot of work to implement online into NES/SNES games, should be fun to see how they go about it.
  2. I'd be amazed if this isn't one of the games they add online multiplayer to as a perk for the online subscription.
  3. It's a shame the game is so ugly looking and that weird floating camera is very strange. Hope there's an option to turn that off.
  4. Wow the design is lovely. Would love to get one if Amazon UK starts selling it.
  5. Thanks for the report, glad you came away impressed. Almost everyone who plays Arms seems to have really loved it, I can see it getting Splatoon-like popularity and acclaim. Such a clever, fun looking game. That photo you took of MK8's character select screen is lovely and really makes the screen look amazingly bright and vibrant. I've never been this excited for a games console, only two more weeks...
  6. Don't be, Amazon have been cancelling orders for it at £1.99, gutted.
  7. In case anyone misses this in the 1, 2 Switch thread...
  8. £1.99 digitally on Amazon! Hurry before they fix it http://amzn.to/2l0ta3Y
  9. I really like the simplicity. There aren't a million different directions, layers, sub menus, tiers, right clicks, apps etc like on the PS4. It may be the most feature packed, but it's also the most bloated and messy IMO. I think people are excited by the Switch UI because there's a lot of excitement about the Switch itself. At least that's how it feels. PS: I really like the user icons
  10. That seems quite likely. Would you be able to see a Friends list if you weren't signed in to PSN? The UI development documents also clearly showed a Friends list
  11. Sigh. They'd have far more use than just enjoyment if they were like Xbox and MyNintendo, were you not only had fun collecting them, but they gave you items and discounts in exchange.
  12. I enjoy them too, but they still don't have any real use. They're just checkboxes in a long list, at least on PS4. I'm just saying it's nice to have a perk for collecting them, like on Xbox and MyNintendo.
  13. Achievements can be similar to how Miitomo/Mario Run and FE:H work, with the whole MyNintendo mission thing. At least those have an actual use and give you discounts/items, unlike trophies that don't really do anything.
  14. Wow that looks lovely! Really fast to navigate and a nice clean design. The sounds effects are very 'Nintendo'.
  15. Altano has clarified it's not review hardware Also some guy on gaf has apparently received an early copy. He said he was uploading video of the UI about half an hour ago but seems to have vanished, so I'm not sure how legit this low res shot he put up is:
  16. Interestingly, IGN has put up Mark Brown's video on how to use nostalgia the right way. It's great that he'll get far more exposure this way, wonder if it's the first of many. This particular video is one of my favourites of his
  17. How do you know what we're getting? If the new story is two hours long then it's way too high, if it's 30 hours long then it's great value for money. Really? Season passes are criticised time and time again here? Genuine question. Don't most publishers sell you season passes without any information on what they'll contain so you have to go in blind? At least Nintendo is sharing what we get from the very beginning.
