I can't agree that a console you can fit in your pocket is underpowered. The amount of power in such a tiny shell is brilliant. It's pointless comparing it to PS4 and XBO, it's a completely different system.
You really don't like developers and publishers making money eh? No one is forcing you to pre-order a game before a review comes out.
And for the record, gaming is cheaper than it's ever been.
I was genuinely expecting 20 minutes of Shovel Knight, Snipperclips and Fast RMX gameplay and maybe a surprise indie trailer or two. To get quickfire game after game after game with loads of reveals and new announcements was very surprising. I hope this is another sign of new Nintendo.
Runner 3 was a really nice surprise, I loved the one on Wii U and this one looks even better.
Great to see Overcooked and (multiplayer!) Stardew Valley on the way too.
Oh and I thought 'Flipping Death' looked amazing.
Fucking hell.
That was an amazing mini presentation. Blown away by the amount of games, the quality of said games, and the slickness of the video itself. Nintendo seems to have done a brilliant job of curating the best looking indie games out there, I lost count how many I would be picking up.
Oh and Steamworld Dig 2!! FUCK YES.
Bravo Nintendo.
The E3 plateau area seems to be the most taxing part of the game from a technical pov, I wonder why that is. Lots of reports saying it's where the majority of frame rate drops occur.
Yeah and it's unlikely to go down in price any time soon so if you're going to buy a Switch eventually, may as well buy it now and enjoy all the great games in the next few months, and the best version of this game.
