I'm considering this, would have it already at sub £30. Is it easy to set up friends games? I think me and the King are in the same boat on this one.

My impressions after a couple of days. It's amazing that they have managed to fit a console into that device. My WiFi like others have mentioned only seems have 1 bar. Only time will tell if that's going to be an issue. I have not had any Joycon issues. The dock is a pain in the arse as most TV cabinets just aren't designed for something that stands up. The Joycon grip is very clever that it feels just like a controller. The Joycons on there own would only really be any good for motion gaming or simple games like snipperclips. I can't imagine anyone playing Mario kart with one of them. Obviously loving Zelda. Just a shame having friend education a load of you guys that there isn't really any online games to play yet. Is snipperclips online? I'll get this bundle next week.

Word to the wise, DON'T accidently put the wrong strap on the wrong Joycons. It gets jammed and I had to really force it off.

What those breeze blocks that sit under and are tethered to your TV. No mate the world has moved on, industry standard is a completely mobile console, if only Sony and Microsoft would get with the times.

So who else is doing the midnight launch? I'm very tempted but half expecting to jumped by a bunch of hood rats on the way back to the car. I'll log on when I get back home, hopefully with a copy of Zelda. Unfortunately I won't be able to add any friends as apparently typing numbers instead of letters is a physical impossibility.

So worst case scenario instead of typing in a 6 digit user name you have to type in a 12 digit friend code. Not exactly worth getting our knickers in a twist about is it?

When I preordered from Game in store they said they only had enough copies of Zelda to fulfil preorders. Which I didn't do so if I can't get a copy in Tesco at midnight I face the very realistic prospect of not getting it any time soon. Thanks for the SD card btw

I've decided to do the midnight launch at Game so I can come home and put it all in my sons bedroom, so when he wages up on Friday morning it will all be sitting there waiting for him (he's a Tottenham fan so he needs cheering up) I still don't have a copy Zelda though!

Well I think it's fair to say Nintendo have smashed it with the indies. I've never played Stardew Valley but I get the impression a multiplayer version would be big news. Come on Nintendo now show us you have done the same great work with the big publishing houses.

Is £79.99 the official price? I have not been able to find other than Amazon but want to buy it from a good old fashioned shop. If so that's a good price.

Apologies, I hadn't read the previous comments, so my response was not in the right context. Of course it's a hybrid but bottom line why does it even need to be catergorised. As usual it's Nintendo delivering a brilliant and unique piece of hardware, that can only be ruined by it's software or lack thereof. But we all know they have learnt their lessons from Wii U and have repaired all these damaged relationships with 3rd parties. Don't we................

I don't know about Xbox but Dualshocks were £70+ for a considerable time.

No price on the bundle. What is it with Nintendo at the moment, every announcement they make of late is missing half the information required.

Forgot to mention Game offered me a mini Nes as I was pre-ordering Switch. I don't have an interest in one but if somebody wants one I don't mind going and getting it.

Game is round the corner from my office and I wanted to collect rather than wait for a courier and Tesco was just because I saw it cheap, plus the added benefit that I get 10% off in Tesco so it will be £44. I should have really preordered everything from Tesco as 10% on the whole lot would be a fair bit, but traded in a load of games. Anyway happy about Snipperclips bundle. They have historically done very good bundles like Wii Play with a Wiimote for £19.99

So just returned from my appointment with Game. I've now purchased a Pro-Controller and case but cancelled Zelda as it's £60 in Game and £48 in Tesco. However, I do now run the risk of not having a game to play on launch day if I can't get a copy. Game don't have copies to sell as all are presold. I watched the first minute of that joy-con video. What a load of cobblers! If you smother all the sensors with your hands you lose the signal, pretty much exactly the same as would happen with any remote control. If somebody is standing between you and the TV you've got a bigger problem than your joy-con desyncing... YOU CAN'T SEE THE FUCKING TV!

2nd year in a row the Champions have sacked their manager! It's getting crazy. They should have at the very least waited until they were out of the Champions League.

People who have preordered are more than entitled to register their disappointment as we learn what will/will not be on the system especially as Nintendo have been so backwards and coming forward with information. That said I really don't understand people who are not buying the console but still come on here to moan. I don't have an Xbox and have never been in the Xbox thread. I own a ps4 and very rarely go in that thread.
