EA are probably hoping to sell two copies of the game to people who own a ps4/xb1 and a switch .

I'm loving all this. Portable Fifa with UT and icons. Job done. I'm a total football junkie. play, coach, watch & Fifa. I've even written a "rough" book called Football is broken. EA sound like they've gone back to great days on Wii when they Tiger Woods was the best golf game ever made. No hiding place for you now @dazzybee

I'm still playing Fifa 16 on PS4. As long as Fifa Switch is on a par with that I'll be more than happy. Can somebody start a Fifa 18 thread?

You know that screen they revealed with all the 3rd party publishers working on games, not to mention games like Skyrim, NBA, Steep etc that were actually part of the reveal and have not been seen since.

1: Has Serebii got anything right EVER? 2: As somebody else mentioned, Switch is in desperate need of a single player game. Zelda is done, MK & Tetris were good for a short while for quick 10 minute blasts, but my Switch has sat in it's dock untouched for a couple of weeks now. Where are all the 3rd party games we were promised? They really need to drop some bombs at E3.

So in seasons you just play as a real team like Chelsea? Ultimate Team you make your own team and start with bronze players, but you earn or can buy Fifa coins and with these you can buy better players( Silver,Gold) on the transfer market. Plus you have contracts and loads of other consumables, so it's more like Football manager. Certainly the transfer market is a major part of UT. If seasons is just playing as a real team, them I'm guessing 98% of players are either Barcelona or Real Madrid? EA must make huge sums of money from Ultimate Team, so I would be astounded if they leave it out.

That's exactly what Ultimate Team is. Anybody care to explain the difference?

I worked in Southwark for many years and commuted to London Bridge and walked through Borough Market every day. Spent many lunchtimes and evenings in both the Barrowboy and the Globe It's weird but it feels a lot more personal because I know the area so well. Surely the time has come for an absolute zero tolerance for theses maniacs. Every single time this happens, they are known to the police. I couldn't give two shits if some "innocent" people are locked up, if you have any kind of link to any of these organisations then you should be detained indefinitely. America had it right and they were criticized.

Why didn't they just call the Switch "Wii U Deluxe"

FFS! I'll be really pissed off if this doesn't have Ultimate Team. I don't really know all the modes in FIFA but without UT is there another online league mode? I don't get the point of just playing friendlies.

This falls into the same catergory as Bomberman and Tetris for me. £10-£15 cheaper and it's a definite purchase.

Once Fifa (with ultimate team) launches on Switch I won't play our PS4 anymore. I take the Switch to bed at night and have a quick blast on Tetris in the morning before I get up. I also play it a lot when I'm cooking and of course on the toilet. I'm starting to really like the look of Arms. They seem to have taken Wii Boxing and made a fully fledged fighting game using the game dynamics. Hopefully this means they will do a proper golf game too.

I'm in. Would have liked some battle mode incorporated.

The cost is the cost and the spec is the spec. I don't own a single Blu-Ray but I wouldn't refuse to buy a PS4 unless they sold me one £40 less without the Blu-Ray player. Is it that you can only afford £240, in which case keep saving up, or just that you don't think you'll use it on the tv in which case just suck it up.

If Switch sales continue the way they are then 3rd party games will start to come back, probably too early this year, but next year I think some of the big franchises will start to get Switch releases. I'm sure a big problem is that these games don't do big numbers on Nintendo consoles so the publishers are not too bothered and Nintendo only make a small amount of profit on the games compared to in-house games so they're not too bothered either. As long as EA don't gimp Fifa just can see that doing big numbers on Switch and that may be the game that becomes a catalyst for 3rd party support.

How do you turn off the invisible barriers? I've bumped off them a couple of times, so I know they are there but can't find an option to remove them.

I think they could add a great online multiplayer to this game. I'm now tormented as to whether to trade this in or not.
