Smash Bros Switch Roster Prediction Competition
markderoos replied to Glen-i's topic in Nintendo Gaming
@Glen-ihow many time left to finalize our predictions? More hyped for this thread than the actual Direct! -
But why doesn’t he have those big round eyes.. ???
-
Let’s see, we’ve had K.K. Slider, Samus and Tingle now. This being Red Shell, I’d say someone from Wario Ware, something/body Wii Music related or the annoying baby face from Mario Paint?
-
I don’t think going mono psychic will be limiting
-
Please add a playable Nadal Mii as post launch free DLC. Or better yet, not a Mii version but a realistic one. It will be ‘MK8 X Mercedes’ all over again! 😂
-
Of course that’s not sad, everybody’s got different preferences. What announcements for Switch would excite you?
-
@Sméagol destroyer of dreams

And it will be a Battle Royale game, right? 😭

Can’t wait for Wart in Smash!

Better answer than: ‘If he didn’t it would differ too much from Mario Kart and that’s not something we’re aiming for’

The music sounds like a weird mash-up between the soundtracks from The Lion King and Loco Roco

Old Man’s Journey (Broken Rules, €7.99 / £7.19 until 7th Jun, regular price €9.99 / £8.99) If you haven’t already bought this, do it now. Great game!

If this list is true then third parties are leaving money on the table not releasing their biggest titles on the platform. If it’s due to technical limitations, fair enough, but if it’s for other reasons it’s just bad business. The Switch demographic buys a lot of games. Not only first party, but also third party Indies and Studio games.

Waluigi’s my favorite at this point. Yoshi didn’t click with me, Mario plays decent but I lost too many games by a very small margin. But when I unlocked Waluigi I started winning almost every point. I also struggle against Chain Chomp, but luring it into net play and switching between flat and sliced shots will give you the chance to play a winning lob. For now it’s the only tactic I could figure out against it.

If that list is true, it would mean my favorite Nintendo E3 showing in a very long time! F-Zero, Punch out, Star Fox, Smash, Fir Emblem and Metroid is a very “Core” focused showing. Fortnite and Fallout are also more mature titles. The last decade the focus was much more family and/or casual oriented.

They’ve tried it (through the anime) with Meowth, Jigglypuff and Togepi. Magikarp, Snorlax, Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Charizard are also fairly populair I think, probably some more. Eevee’s also quite iconic so fits that bill I guess. Would’ve been cool if they’d gone with Let’s Go Stunfisk and Let’s Go Dunsparce 😜

1200 platinum, 48 gold. Beat you @Glen-i! What’s the easiest way to attach iPhone screenshots to a post? Gift for Glen-i

Well, RRP for Sushi Striker is £39,99 in the UK but €49,99 in the rest of Europe. Hope these are both mistakes...

I think they meant the 2 player coop mode is only local, not online. Makes more sense to me.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp ( Mobile Game. Out Late Nov )
markderoos replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I’ve started playing this game last weekend and am enjoying it a lot more than I thought! At level 30 now and it’s slowly getting a bit repetitive now. Even if I still haven’t delved very deep into stuff like the quarry and gardening. The (lack off) variety of bugs, fruit and fish is a bit disappointing as that’s one of the main attractions in AC to me. I do really like the graphics, they look so clean and crisp on my iPad! -
Wait what, the Nivea anti-perspirant spray is now confirmed for Smash??

Mine was a Sealeo in Pokémon Ruby. I wasn’t aware that shinies existed at the time. You can imagine how freaked out I was when I encountered a purple Sealeo. I think I’ve encountered a few shinies before without knowing because of the less distinctive differences with their non-shiny counterparts and me not taking notice of the sparkling stars....
