  1. Only a new main game is likely. This is a 5 minute long Direct, it's not going to have much content so won't be rehashing stuff we know
  2. And I was continuing with the conversation :p
  3. That wouldn't be the sole purpose of a Direct. GO may have a small presence, but that is not the reason or focus of this Direct.
  4. Yeah, cancelling their top series.
  5. The original Pokémon X & Y Direct was 11 minutes with 8 minutes of retrospective. 5 minutes is plenty
  6. I exercise daily Got to keep the weight off considering my work has me sitting at a desk all day. I do go to and cover Nationals and other events so we'll see
  7. Thing is, with Game Freak so adamant that Pokémon remain a handheld, Pokémon won't jump to NX until the NX handheld is out. Game Freak insist that portability is a key aspect to Pokémon (and it is). Besides, we're not done with this generation yet and they won't jump to new hardware before a new Pokémon generation begins It was poor memory/misreading from this http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-02-08-who-killed-rare
  8. Elaborate :p
  9. Yuck :p . I misread. I thought the Stampers sold their stake as they went out, but seems they left a year after that 51% was sold.
  10. Third parties are third parties and so the statement of correction holds :p
  11. To be fair, they do that quite a lot...it's just not the third parties that you care about. Monster Hunter Yo-kai Watch Dragon Quest Final Fantasy Bravely Second Arkham City Shovel Knight etc. They all get a craptonne of Nintendo's support behind them. I'm sure if Nintendo actually got those titles on their platforms, they'd push them too.
  12. I'm currently undecided. There are very valid reasons for both staying in and leaving :/
  13. I really don't get on with the battle system in this game :/
  14. I really don't think that's the case. If people only bought Nintendo's games because they're "starved", then Wonderful 101 would have done well. Donkey Kong wouldn't have taken over a year to hit a million. Captain Toad would have hit a million and so forth.
  15. Pokémon Ranger this week. Finally a good Pokémon game on the Wii U Virtual Console :p
  16. This is a BIG thing that annoys me. People in the west treat the home console market as the only thing that matters. Nintendo does ridiculously well in handhelds. Hell, they managed to release a handheld that has sold almost 60m units in the age of smartphone gaming. Yes, it's down and probably their worst selling handheld since the GameBoy was almost dead (Back in 1996, people were asking when their next handheld was coming as sales had flatlined and it was old, then Pokémon game). This shows that, contrary to belief, Nintendo does know what the hell they're doing. Who else would be able to sell a handheld successful in a toxic market? Sony? Yeah, that went well. Yes, the Wii U was a mis-step, but people equating it to Nintendo not being relevant anymore or knowing what they're doing is just plain retarded.
  17. Red got destroyed globally :p
  18. Welp, that's that then
  19. They're not. Sorry, @Glen\-i :p
  20. Well the game didn't include all languages so what did you expect them to do? To be fair, we've known there would be an increase in price since the announcement :p
  21. Really? It happens on GAF and here all the time :p
  22. Rare were falling apart and it was sold off because the Stamper brothers wanted out. Nintendo bailing on them was the better option. Rare was done before Nintendo sold it off. They passed on the offer for the 51% the Stampers were selling, and then sold the rest since MS bought the majority.
  23. It's what they said in an interview last year...
