Loads of reports now of people on a 7-day PokéStop streak getting an evolution item. Now that's incentive to play every day.

It may be simple, but... It will have themes. It will have Pokémon themes I have already spent an obscene amount of money on Pokémon themes on 3DS (http://www.serebii.net/games/themes.shtml All except bundled are my own screenshots) It will have special edition Joy Cons rather than Special Edition Consoles. I am so screwed ;;

Not really, since accounts are across two different devices. If you delete your account, you lose all your content on both devices.

Triggering me :p eShop stuff has been linked to accounts for years. Problem is the accounts were locked to devices.

Have 41 of the 100 Johto Pokémon Was at the arcade by the pier and saw a Mantine on the nearby so rushed for that. Then saw a Bayleef just down the road. Then a Slugma, then a Snubbull, then a Granbull, then a Stantler, then a Wobbuffet. That escalated so fast

A new mobile title has been announced for iOS and Android devices. This game is to be called Splash! Magikarp and will be released at some point this Spring. Not much is currently known about the game but the only image we have contains one fisherman and two holes that are shaped like Magikarp. It is being developed by Select Button Inc.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
Serebii replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Let's look at Nintendo's history with paid DLC. New Super Mario Bros. U -Entirely new mode. 80 new levels. New mechanics New Super Mario Bros. 2 -Loads of optional new stages for Coin Rush. Full game without it Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U -Multiple new characters and stages. Full game without it Mario Kart 8 -6 New Characters, 16 new/redone tracks. Full game without it Fire Emblem Fates -An entirely new story -Special maps that give bonuses Fire Emblem Awakening -Special maps that give bonuses Mario Golf World Tour -3 packs including a total of 4 new characters and 6 redone courses from classic Mario Golf titles Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity -Special dungeons that gave easy access to rare items and Pokémon that are harder to find in standard play. Pikmin 3 -Special new maps for the bingo battle mode Hyrule Warriors (in four packs) -New Story -7 Outfits -2 New Weapons -4 New Characters -3 Adventure Mode Maps -Boss Challenge -Ganon's Fury Mode Hyrule Warriors Legends (in four packs) -52 My Fairy Costumes -4 Adventure Mode Maps -2 Weapons (Also on Wii U) -4 New Characters (Also on Wii U) -5 Adventure Battle Scenarios -4 Challenge Battle Scenarios I think we should stop worrying. Only thing that has been iffy is Fire Emblem and the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game (which didn't do well, which is why they didn't do it in the latest Dungeon game). Everything else shows they know what they're doing and aren't screwing us -
Again, please refer to the reasons why I said a home console Pokémon wouldn't happen. As Switch is a hybrid, those reasons are moot.

I'm in two minds. First, "Yay more support" Second, what the frak? DLC? Really?? -
A new leak, which is hard to deny, indicates you can still do these things without the app. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1343614 In fact, I remember reading an interview where they said that recently too. I'll go hunting.

I never said there was a problem. And yeah, Nintendo has a big range, and they also have many indie titles, including some listed. What I'm saying is that the notion that local multiplayer is gone is based on big developers and big publishers abandoning it. That's what people are getting at. You saying "But indies" doesn't diminish that.

Manufacturing stops to make way for the SNES Classic, clearly :p

Really? Seriously? REALLY? MOD EDIT(by Rummy) : Consider this post at this point. What is this post saying, how does one react to it, and what does it add to the discussion? I don't want to end up censoring everything, and I don't want to call out every slight joke post, but really I think people need to ask when they post: What does this add to the discussion? My prediction is that this post would inspire a backlash against it due to its rather lacking/thin content and contribution to the discussion(possibly not with this edit, I don't know), and take things further off actual Switch discussion. This isn't a criticism against the poster as I realise I'm going to be called out for - it's a criticism of posts like this; regardless who is making them. MOD EDITEDIT: Below came in as I was making the above edits. [/Rummy] (Serebii)That list is also hilarious, mostly comprising of download and indie titles. On core retail games, local multiplayer is out the window, no longer a focus, and if included shifted away for an online focus. You cannot deny that

Oh neat, the Pro Controller comes with a USB A to USB C cable. That means we don't have to hunt for ones so we can charge the Switch from our portable chargers No Pokémon Channel? For shame
