  1. Glad I ordered my MicroSD the other day. 128GB was £35 then
  2. We've seen a bit of the UI. It's a bit barebones right now. They showed loading Breath of the Wild from it though. Went to title screen in less than 10 seconds from pressing the button. I imagine we'll see more, plus VC etc. in a Direct before launch
  3. http://store.nintendo.co.uk/nintendo-switch.list Nintendo UK pre-orders are up

Why? What makes you say that?
  5. The pound is 100% in the shitter. No, we haven't left, but there have been massive economic shifts due to it, most notably in the value of the £ Before the referendum, $1 was equal to £0.68. Now, it's equal to £0.82. For Yen, £1 was equal to around 158 Yen prior to the referendum, now it's around 135 Yen As such, when you're a company from outside the UK and are having to sell things in the UK, you will either have to eat a significant loss or alter your prices. We may not have left yet, but to say we haven't suffered effects from it is grossly erroneous Also, don't forget that UK's price is with 20% tax while US's is without tax. Average tax in America is 14%, so US price would end up, for most, to be around $340 which, when converted is £280. Just for note, before the referendum if you had done the same conversion, it'd have been £230
  6. Mobile game is coming, too...
  7. Just announced on Treehouse Live 10pm UTC 11pm CEST 2pm PST 5pm EDT
  8. They're advertising the US one, not the EU one though so people may get pissed haha

Me too I was hesitant because of motion controls but was going to give it a go, but now I am 100% in. People are complaining it's barebones, but like Splatoon's reveal this is just a very small microcosm of the game in a demo

Seems it was just confirmed in Treehouse Live that Arms has traditional controls
  11. You do know VR uses motion control right? :p
  12. If you're planning on downloading, it's 13GB on Wii U and 13.4GB on Switch
  13. Description from PR It's an eShop exclusive title
  14. When you use a specific non-realistic style and technology progresses, you see diminishing returns a lot quicker than with realistic styles
  15. You bet. Looking at about £500 though Switch: £280 Zelda: £60 or £90 (haven't decided on if I'm getting the Special Edition, but ours looks worse than NA. I wanted that carry case) Bomberman: £30-£50 (Hopefully smaller) Pro Controller: £65 (Seriously Nintendo, what the fuck?) 5 Zelda amiibo: £55

I think this game looks great, but I fear too many won't bother simply because it has motion control
  17. I think they NEED to do a smaller portable only one, which they can do with less high-spec stuff in the machine, for cheaper before they bring Pokémon on it
  18. I think that might be the point though
  19. It'll likely be revealed later this year. It's too soon to be revealed as Sun & Moon only just came out
  20. Online Super Mario Kart though...
  21. Staggered releases so there are no droughts since people kept bitching about droughts. Simple as that.
  22. Aren't there games on Xbox and PlayStation that can bypass it though?
  23. Why do you say that though? I know things aren't ideal, but why such hyperbole? Only issue in my view is cost and maybe that weird mobile app online thing. Launch line-ups always suck
  24. I'm thinking Pokémon may be a game that they're going to exempt from the fee. Else they done fucked up
  25. Love you too man :p I admit the Switch isn't perfect, and they have ballsed up in places but some of the hyperbole going around, good grief. There was a person saying they fucked up by not putting a hard drive in the dock, not understanding how ridiculous that is Any "achievements" would likely be akin to ones we have in Mario Run and Miitomo and tie in with My Nintendo
