I was counting Xenoblade 2 as #9 since that is set for 2017 I do agree that third party could do with shoring up. I'm getting fed up of seeing developers say how great the Switch is, and that it's a great concept, and then say they have no plans. Put stuff out or shut the hell up, third parties.

Only 2 of the 9 first party games being released this year on Switch are also on Wii U. I don't understand the sentiment that the window is enticing to people who missed Wii U

Lots of games end up on consoles different to the one they began development on. Doesn't stop it being a game for that console.

To me, Breath of the Wild is a Switch game so I'm getting it on Switch. Simple as.

Those are optional non-mandatory amenities that aren't actually required for anything whereas motion control is required for some games past, present and future Expecting a Direct next month that puts out all the details on the online including some eShop exclusive games for the first couple of months, Virtual Console details etc. and maybe even some more games.

I'm happy that they've not just brought it back but improved it. It gives people the option. Look at Arms, that works amazingly with motion but also has buttons. Options for all players. Removing options is never a good thing
