  1. Middle of the road really. £300 would have been bordering on too high £200 would have been too low for Nintendo to actually make good business £250 is fine, but not ideal if you want impulse buyers. It's about what most of us have been expecting
  2. It makes me sad that people are so fixated with power. That Colin guy you posted about is spot on. Games have not changed since last generation. Power is nice, but it makes things shinier essentially. It's not essential to making good games yet it has become what people fixate on. It makes me sad that people care more about playing Console Spec Top Trumps over playing good games Detective Pikachu, right? I'm right there with you, man. Hmmm
  3. It'll be great Though people will bitch because they don't understand technology and realise that they can't have PS4 Pro level tech in a hybrid device without it costing a fortune and having the battery life of a pencil
  4. I don't think anyone is defending Nintendo, because at this time there is nothing to defend. All I'm saying is that we heard this crap with Star Fox and it didn't turn out that way. Rumour be rumour. It doesn't need defending or criticising until it's confirmed
  5. Yeah he is bang on with all of this except them being one mistake away from being third party
  6. I'm just trying to get people's expectations closer to reality so this forum isn't filled with "God this is shit" and other such statements :p
  7. Remember, the live presentation will probably be more akin to this: than the pomp and circumstance you see at E3... We won't have audiences cheering whenever they say a word or anything.
  8. I still stand by my view that live events are worse than Directs
  9. Things like that, plus it's going to be awkward as hell with long pauses European Directs typically had subs rather than dub over when they didn't have English speaking hosts
  10. And this is why a Direct would have been better
  11. Yeah, it's not like Nintendo has to translate it into 12 different languages for Europe and not for North America
  12. Na what we need is a Wii situation where they shipped a lot and it was still scarce, not a NES Mini situation where they only shipped ~200k in North America when demand was ridiculously high
  13. According to him though, he's still working with Good Feel despite being freelance [tweet]816929111109009408[/tweet]
  14. They're transferred to the cartridge Think of Bank as having 100 additional Boxes that are online and can only be accessed through Bank. You can upload them from one game, and then download them to another which can then be played on any console
  15. That's correct. Just put the retail Sun into the 2DS and you can move Pokémon to the game from Bank. It's simple You don't have to load Sun on the 2DS and it doesn't mess with any time based events
  16. Thing is, the Wii U actually had a really solid launch, sales wise. It's the immediate time after launch that did badly
  17. Na you just need to load up Bank while Sun is in the 3DS and then you can transfer them They don't support them because there were transfer methods up to Gen 5 as is
  18. It's actually doing better than the normal However, this is really the first insight that the "hardcore" gamer is looking into mobile and seeing these things for the first time, seeing the numbers and panicking. Especially as this is a one-off purchase and not laden with IAP like GO. I feel that the success of GO has warped how people view mobile games
  19. Na, you can just put the physical Sun into the 2DS when using Bank to connect with it. The Bank is coupled to the NNID which is why you can only access it on one device.
  20. You'd need to do the Bank on the 2DS and Sun be a physical copy for it to work though
