  1. 7 straight hours played so far, think I've barely scratched the surface. I'm starting to get to grips with the new battle system though...gradually.
  2. Boosting the signal from the Switch would still counter a lot of it
  3. Maybe if you had a Japanese Switch it'll be fine. There's a work around by merging wallets with your Japanese accounts for 3DS and Switch and then add it through the 3DS. It'll then show on the Switch
  4. Don't know if it has been stated here but, while you can connect to the other eShops, like with the PS4 you cannot use foreign credit cards so you'd need to buy eShop credit from stores in the region in question to buy from it
  5. Code: M2DESCENT
  6. Just waiting for Zelda to arrive now
  7. Boom Now sleep
  8. http://www.polygon.com/2017/3/2/14792066/nintendo-switch-friend-code-response
  9. Well it's a Nintendo launch with one of the most well reviewed video games of all time. We're bound to all be
  10. Even though we now possibly have a fix, I fail to see how the idea of it not being fixed in Day 1 would have been evidence that it wasn't software. All it'd mean is that it's not sorted yet
  11. Looks like NUK orders are shipping out
  12. Indeed. I'm still getting a second one (for multiplayer testing), but that is fantastic.
  13. [tweet]837294748830314498[/tweet]
  14. Yeah it really seems that Nintendo UK told people to not send out until today :/
  15. The source being Kimishima at an investor meeting :p
  16. There's one review which has been negative, giving it a "no", but with such weird lines for a review saying things like "If I wanted stealth, I'd play Assassin's Creed" and "Zelda isn't Dark Souls. It shouldn't be this hard". (Note: Paraphrasing)
  17. I think it's confirmed as being the equivalent of ~£20 a year
  18. I was being facetious, you Twitter stalker :p Just to be a douche. If anything, this is the industry standard. A handful of companies do it like XBL and PSN. Hundreds do it like this :P I think it's bizarre and stupid too, don't get me wrong, but let's not go crazy.
  19. I'm not making an excuse. I'm providing an explanation. It's bizarre to me too, but understandable. Plus, again, it's not the only method
  20. This isn't the only way to add people. No need for sarcasm :P
  21. Thing is, this is DeNA's doing most likely. They're handling Nintendo's online services now. DeNA is a mobile company and in Japan, mobile games all use unique identifiers akin to Friend Codes in order for you to add friends without Social Media. I believe you may be able to use Social Media to add people here too. Countless mobile games use it, especially in Japan.
  22. At least it's not the only way now
  23. It's not the only way, thankfully. I blame DeNA. Had a feeling this would happen when Fire Emblem Heroes friend list was behind Friend Codes. Wouldn't be surprised if standard comes after the paid online Difference is that you can have a Nintendo Account without the User ID
  24. Seems there's a Day 1 patch for Zelda on Switch now too
  25. Yeah third parties are pushing it a bit with prices. I'm a sucker for Bomberman and am still getting it though :P
