It was below the level of normal Hydreigon (It evolves at Level 64 and it was Level 50) which is not possible, especially as it was listed as being bred. I had an opponent get really shitty with me. I used an unconventional team (it's my specialty) and it's a frustrating team for people to deal with when I can get it going. I think he was on 2 losses already and a third would mean that he wouldn't top cut. As the match neared a close, he just slammed his 3DS shut, slammed his chair against the desk and walked off.

Also the 4th highest first party Wii U game launch in Japan, and it is sold out everywhere. Nintendo only shipped ~150,000 units at first.

Waiting over an hour between matches, not leaving until almost 11pm. Hack check was appalling and let several people through. One only got caught because he was on stream and someone noticed that his Hydreigon was an impossible level. This resulted in them having to repair everyone in the 8th round after already pairing everyone. It took forever. I thought TCG had a proper winner, Oliver Fennelly?

Finally got to Bowser. Got my ass kicked. Was so close to beating him, too.

If anything, it's made me appreciate Nintendo more. There are many fantastic games on other consoles, and I did start to lose my love during the Wii era, but following the 360/PS3 which started to burn me out on gaming in general, the Wii U and 3DS brought me completely back. Nintendo's output over the last 4 years have showed me what gaming really is. While the games on the other consoles are technically good, they just didn't exude the joy Nintendo did and that's why my love of gaming started to die. That said, a sequel to Red Dead Redemption would get me to finally drop cash on a PS4 in a heartbeat.

I agree they should give an option for Splat Zones outside of Ranked, yes. However, the logic for no friend matchups in ranked is sound. It may suck, but it makes sense. Let's not put our grumpiness in the way of being able to see the logic in such things.

Because by being able to not party with friends, there would be no chance of any communication between any, prior or through Skype, so everyone is on equal footing. Makes perfect sense.

That's what I wanted. Not vague statements. Just wanted a rundown To be fair, @kav82, there are six maps now and the "free DLC" is not actually DLC. It's in the game already and they're doing staggered unlocks of them to try and keep people coming back. The actual "new" content doesn't come until August. Until then, we have most, if not all, already in the game. Also, it makes some sense to not allow friend team-ups in ranked. Makes it an even ground for all
