Xenoblade does

Well seeing as Xenoblade is out in Japan already and Yoshi is out the following week in Europe, it won't be "all" new, but yeah. Basically, in my view, if it was in the Direct last week, it won't be in it. If it was in the Smash Direct tomorrow, it won't be in it. If it was revealed or detailed in the past two weeks, it won't be in it. Now, this does add a bit of iffy stuff. Fire Emblem and Yoshi were in the Japanese Direct, but not the US one which makes me wonder and I do truly hope they don't spend too much time on Xenoblade considering it is out already in Japan and this Digital Event is a global thing, not US only.

Na, I think Nintendo will make it so the Digital Event is about new games/releases. Did they not essentially say that at some point? I have a recollection of that.

I think the Smash stuff tomorrow is a massive indicator that they won't discuss DLC in the Digital Event

Yeah I'm with you on that. Though smart money is on Earthbound Zero as that exists as a localised title in Nintendo's archives already.

Let's just hope that they announce new characters beyond these two for release later this year, as per Lucas in the April Direct. That'd make the Smash presentation still be awesome, but it's unlikely.

Oh Nintendo. Sometimes you baffle me. So tight with some things, yet you do boneheaded things like this and including the full ORAS data in the demo for people to extract. If they're in the patch though, and have the videos, then maybe they're out tomorrow with Lucas??

I would be very surprised if there isn't a Zelda Wii U trailer in the Digital Event.

This is a major thing. Most of the big "reveals" for the other platforms have come ahead of time, while Nintendo doesn't roll that way which can cause people to not feel "hype". The ridiculous now-standard of developers revealing things ahead of E3 has caused people, and annoyingly gaming news sites, to have the view that Nintendo doesn't have much to show, despite them having a Direct last week and have had sporadic reveals of things, all of which won't be in their Digital Event. It's ridiculous.

That's the thing with Nintendo. We never know until it happens
