  1. One bad event and you're ready to jump ship, ignoring the countless fantastic Directs they've had. Is your memory so fickle? Yes, people like me, @Hero\-of\-Time etc. are a bit disappointed with this, but we're not jumping to hyperbole (correct me if I'm wrong guys). Was it disappointing? Yes. Is it indicative of anything bad? No, I honestly don't think so. I think they misread things here, and I know certain things for Wii U that exist that I was honestly expecting here, but I guess will be in an upcoming Direct. One bad showing does not suddenly mean doom. Relax.
  2. I think the art style works. Especially after how Miyamoto described it being akin to Thunderbirds.
  3. What's wrong with A Link Between Worlds? I was talking about Four Swords GBA, Four Swords Adventures and Four Swords DSi.
  4. Good fucking Christ. You're turning into Wii. You're dismissing genuine titles and putting insulting and inflammatory prefixes in to a few of them.
  5. Multiplayer Zelda
  6. You realise this is the fourth instance, right?
  7. Blast Ball comes with Federation Force though
  8. I highly doubt it is going to be a bad game, too. They probably should have made it its on IP.
  9. Press fact sheet just says "Players 1-2". No mention of online
  10. [tweet]610871818988224512[/tweet]
  11. I dunno. I think people are just not liking the idea of the new mechanics. If there's reason to bitch about Starfox, it's at the lack of online
  12. Just one small team
  13. In the visual style of the critically-acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds game comes a new adventure. In this journey, three players team up– each as Link – to cooperatively make their way through inventive dungeons and battle bosses. Use the new Totem mechanic to stack three Links on top of each other to reach higher grounds and solve puzzles. Collect loot to create wearable outfits, each with a different boost or ability. • Similar visual style and top-down view of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. • As Link, buddy up with two other Link characters and cooperatively solve inventive puzzles to progress through the game. • All three players share hearts, so they must work together to defeat enemies and solve puzzles. • Stack three Links on top of each other with the new “Totem” mechanic, which makes it possible to reach new locations to solve puzzles. • Collect loot to create wearable outfits, each with a different boost or ability. Each dungeon is structured with four main areas. • Single-player mode allows the player to rent two paper dolls to take along to complete the team of three and face challenges in dungeons. • Choose from a set of emoticons to communicate with each other while playing in multiplayer mode. • Team up with two other players in multiplayer mode via local wireless connection, online and with download play
  14. I think this game looks great
  15. Starfox Zero is done by Platinum Games. Megaton
  16. Come on guys. I get it didn't hit expectations...not at all, but it's not like the games shown look bad. Let's be fair here.
  17. I exaggerate, but I was expecting more :/ It's not like it was bad, but it dragged in bits and didn't have enough reveals. They really should have used the Yoshi time for something else.
  18. Yes, they had planned for it to be released in 2015, but plans change. Just because it "looked barebones" is in no way indicative of it not heading for 2015 launch.
  19. Plans change. It was intended to be out this year. Just because it had to be delayed doesn't mean that they were lying.
  20. To be fair, he said it to investors and so couldn't lie in regards to that. He could have just said "We have software planned for up to and through April 2016" The Digital Event is 51 minutes long
  21. Difference is that Nintendo's stuff will come out in the next 12 or so months. FF7 and Shenmue 3 are 2 years away at best
  22. Plus Iwata has said there are numerous unannounced Wii U titles before April 2016
  23. Says who? There has been nothing to support that statement.
  24. Isn't that the Nintendo of 2012? Surely the Nintendo of 2014 is closer to today and they knocked it out of the park last year.
  25. Iwata has reiterated that NX, Smart Device content and QOL will not be discussed at the Digital Event, and that it focuses on new Wii U and 3DS software released through the end of the year and into 2016. My body is ready though Audio
